Is it the best? No. Does it same me time and money? Heck yes. I was using lint rollers to remove dog hair (I have 2 long haired large dogs) from couches and blankets. This doesn’t grab everything but it does a damn good job. Easy to use. Highly recommend. I clean everything every 2-3 days and always before the wash and it’s just a magic tool. I’m always amazed how much dog hair the holder collects.

This is a nifty gadget that makes cat hair removal fast and easy. No more rolling stickies on furniture and pausing over and over again to peel off the used sticky. I've gifted this Black and Decker to multiple people and they all love it.

I bought this as a replacement after my ChomChom broke, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much because this BLACK+DECKER Pet Hair Remover was priced noticeably cheaper. To my surprise, it not only held up but actually outperformed my old roller. The build feels very sturdy in hand, no flimsy parts or rattling. The handle is solid and comfortable, and the rolling mechanism is smooth, which makes it easy to cover larger surfaces quickly. I’ve used it on couches, blankets, rugs, and even my car seats, and it pulls up hair with minimal effort. The real test for me was on my dog’s favorite spot on the couch, where the fabric usually traps hair. This roller cleared it in just a couple of passes, whereas I’d have to go over it repeatedly with my ChomChom. Another thing I like is how simple it is to empty. The hair collects neatly in the compartment, and it opens easily without creating a mess. It’s also quieter and doesn’t feel as stiff as the ChomChom did, so I find myself reaching for it more often. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed with both the performance and the value. If you’re on the fence because of the lower price, don’t be, it’s sturdy, effective, and a huge upgrade from what I had before. I highly recommend it for pet owners who are constantly battling hair on furniture and fabrics.

I have tried nearly every single pet hair cleaning tool and product on the market except for the Chom Chom, because I couldn’t reason with the price for a potential dud product. However, I saw that Black + Decker makes a dupe for the Chom Chom that is far cheaper so I decided to try it out. Overall, this is probably my favorite pet hair tool to date and it exceeded my expectations even though it isn’t perfect. Out of everything I’ve tried, this lint roller removes the most pet hair in the quickest amount of time. Also, to clean it you just have to remove the hair from the pet hair collection compartment. My favorite product used to be the silicone lint rollers, but I was always annoyed by having to take the time to clean the roller and wait for it to dry. This lint roller can be immediately reused when full and doesn’t require repurchasing lint roller sheets or anything. Sometimes, the rubber guard on the bottom gets dirty but you can just wipe it off. Surprisingly, I found that it picked up a fair amount of embedded pet hair that was stuck in fabric. I wouldn’t expect it to work on the fabric on the back of car seats or in car trunks, however. While it’s a great lint roller, it’s not a miracle worker. This lint roller would be 5 stars (rather than 4) for me if it worked on all surfaces. I find it difficult to use on thinner fabrics and clothing. Instead, this lint roller works best on harder surfaces like a couch. The lint roller works by quickly flipping back and forth underneath to put the hair into the collection compartment. However, it just doesn’t flip very well on thinner fabrics. You can still sort of use it by just utilizing the velvet part to brush hair off but there are already cheaper and simpler lint brushes that work that way. I will point out that it is a bit of an arm workout. If you’re disabled or have chronic pain, this probably is not the product for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend it and encourage you to purchase it if you struggle with pet hair.

Once I figured out that this must be rolled back and forth for optimal use, I think it is amazing! The roller works well and does not damage the leather-like fabric of my couch where it gets most of its use. Cleaning it is quick and easy too and the plastic seems to be durable. It was also a great value. This is a must have for pet owners!

Much quicker and easier than vacuuming. Perfect for furniture and short-piled carpet. I can do a set of stairs in just a few minutes with this so it’s a huge time saver as a housekeeper
