OMG! Perfection!
So, it usually takes me a very long time to decide on a purchase. Not this time, I searched “3/4 length sleeve, upper arm shaper” and only made it through a couple of options before I decided on this one. When I make a purchase for anything I rely heavily on customer reviews. I have to thank all the women who posted videos and pics of this item because they informed my choice perfectly. This shaper fits me perfectly on the loosest setting (the shaper comes with 3 rows of bra style clips in the front). It makes my upper arms look amazing! Why did it take me this long to look for a shaper like this? A little about me. I am on a weight loss journey starting at well over 300 pounds. I’ve been overweight my entire adult life. But I got even fatter during the pandemic during which I did a fair amount of stress eating and I had never been close to being 320 pounds. Lest you think I was on Ozempic, I wasn’t. I lost 138 pounds the hard way, through diet (Ketogenic) and exercise. So back to my review as a 65 year old, fat my whole life, pear shaped woman with slender lower extremities, but fatter upper arms and thighs I have a lot of loose skin. I can’t afford weight loss surgery, and need a whole new wardrobe. But what fun is shopping for new clothes when you’ve lost a significant amount of weight but still don’t like the way you look? So, still needing new clothes, I ignored the fact that my arms were so big and flappy. Shopping on Amazon has been so fun. It is easy to find a plethora of clothing that fits my Boho, hippy look. Clothing I would not have worn at 320+ pounds now at 175-180 I will wear! I even bought my first belt! I still have 30-40 pounds to lose, but I am so close to my first goal weight of 165. There are still things I avoid because of my arms, stomach thighs, so it was time to think about shapewear. This shaper is the first item like it I have ever purchased. I’ve definitely bought shapewear for my lower body in the past, when I was in the 250 pound range, but never addressed my arms. I just hid them as best I could. This upper arm shaper is amazing! My upper arms still look fat, but they are held in so nicely, I know I can live with them the way they look with this shaper on. Additionally this shaper is a perfect bra! I lifts my breasts up and separates them instead of creating that dreaded pancake affect that sports bras can give. Because I am wearing this on the last row of clips, I know I will still be able to wear it as I loose weight. It is very well made and I expect it will last well when laundered appropriately in a mesh bag. The material is substantial, yet it is still comfortable. At this point I feel I will wear it all day so I am going to need to buy more! I am buying all 3 colors, and wish there were more. I highly recommend buying your true size. I bought the 2xl and feel that is perfect for my size and shape. I currently weigh 185 and I am 5’3. Body shape comes into play as well. Some women are blessed with a more even weight distribution, maybe a size smaller would work for them, or for a slender woman…but for someone like me, I went with the size suggestion and am overjoyed with the garment. I think this upper arm shaper is a bargain, well worth the money. You won’t regret this purchase!

Big girl friendly
I was so excited to try this. Give yourself a minute to get it on properly. I found it I got my arms in and the sleeves adjusted then sneak the first 5or6 hooks then place each best into position and finish the lower hooks it went on easy and comfortably. I'm on the last set of hooks so as I continue to loose weight I'm excited to have room to shrink ; ) I'm a big girl. So this was a real test for me. The wearability is comfortable, I've had mine on all day. I'll order it in black so I have one to wear while the other is line drying. In 2005 I had an arm lift and breast augmentation. Nothing was available like this, so I have keloid scaring that I absolutely hate. Another arm lift and augmentation refresh is planned in the future and I'm excited to know I have this post op option to help the healing. My 44dd's do not need a bra underneath and the fit and lift is excellent. The compression of this product today on my still to big upper arms is actually so comfortable. All the reviews are correct go a size under your regular measured size and you'll be very pleased with the compression. Also, where the sleeve lands on the arm will be different depending on your arm length and size. Mine landed a couple inches below my elbow and the seamless stretchy comfort is fantastic. As I continue to loose weight this will no doubtly will go farther towards my wrists:) UPDATE: AFTER wearing a couple days I decided the band around my ribs was just to tight and constricting. The compression on my arms were perfect. What to do?🤔 Ordered 10 hook DoHope Longline Bra Extender. Made 100% difference in comfort. Did not take away support of the girls. Highly recommend if you're arms need that tighter compression but bra measurement is just a tad bit to tight.

for lovers of surgeries
Breast girdle with excellent quality. I love it. The fabric is very soft and it fits just the way you need it. It doesn't itch and is wash-resistant. I rate this product 10/10.

Runs Small, Low Compression
I went by their size chart, read reviews and decided to go up a size and it's a good thing I did!!! These run small, so, size up. Even on the first hook is tight. I'm a 2X according to their size chart and this 3X is squeezing my B cups. I had a bilateral brachioplasty and have to wear compression garments, after an allergic reaction to another brand this one seemed to be a better choice. I do think they need to revisit their sizing for the USA. WE'RE not petite flowers over here. 😂 The sleeve compression is very light but the best part is TIGHT!!! As you can see in the photos it's on that 1st hook and tight across the chest. The sleeves roll up too, so I'll be using am ace bandage to hold them down until my medical grade once arrives in a few days.

comfy but not practical
This is a well-made garment, and it is very comfortable. My only challenge with it, as is the case with most bra-type things I buy, is that there is no bust support. The shoulder to bust length is too long for me. I am going to take it to the seamstress and see if I can make it fit better by taking up the shoulder to bust length. I would guess most women are fine with it, but I don't like a lack of bust support. Other than that, it is a good deal. It DOES offer mild-moderate arm compression. That is my .02:)

Comfortable
I ordered this for a post surgery (arm lift) garment. It worked well and was comfortable to wear. The seams on the arms didn't hurt and the 3/4 sleeves are nice to have vs full sleeves. The one thing to mention is that the chest area is very tight and also very high so it's difficult to wear with some clothing and sleep in if you have a short torso but a great 2nd garment alternative.
