Easy Cooking & Cleaning
This rotisserie is well made looks great and easy to use. I'm an old guy fending for my grandson and me. 2 yrs cooking experience. No one likes my cooking. I placed a 5lb chicken smothered with Kosmos dry rub for 1.5 hours and look out Costco! That chicken turned out flavorful and juicy. The only thing I did wrong, there were patches of burned skin. Talked to Amazon Rufus, he suggested Reynolds wrap for an hour and finishing without. Sounds like a solution I'll try. There's no thermostat so using your thermometer at random around 1 hour check the temp for 165°. At 1.5 hrs the chicken reached 165°. Even with the slight scorching that chicken was very good! I have a 4lb pork butt to cook tonight. Will update when done. This rotisserie saved my reputation. Cleaning is a small chore. Soaking the parts overnight makes cleanup pretty easy. I had a counter top oven with a rotisserie. It would not handle the weight of a 5lb chicken. This unit is advertised to handle 12lbs. If trussed and properly placed on the spit, it seems stout enough. Going to enjoy cooking on this unit. Will update. Highly recommend. Update #1 The 4 lb pork but turned out great! No scorching. I decided after 30 minutes, to place the roast on no heat rotating. Let rest for 10 minutes. Cranked it back up for another 30 minutes then let it rest 15 minutes no heat. Temp at 150° - 160° depending on where you poke. Roast is dine. Tasty and juicy. Soaked all parts overnight in Dawn Detergent cleanup the next morning was a piece of cake. I rate this the best meat cooking appliance in the house. So easy to turn out tasty pork/chicken. Have to try other recipes. Letting the meat rotate and rest is as good as having a thermostat, if not better. You have more control keeping constant temperature checking with a meat thermometer. Highly recommend.

Had to replace my old Ronco and this is a decent replacement
My parents gave me an old Ronco rotisserie years ago. I believe it was one of the very early models when they were sold via Infomercials on late night TV. It was one of the best Ronco inventions that was ever sold on those infomercials! The plastic base finally cracked to the point where I couldn't use it anywhere. I had fixed it once, but the glass door would no longer stay on and was unfixable. This is one of those kitchen appliances that you think, "Do I really need this?" The first one was given to me so when it couldn't be used any longer I had to make a decision as to whether I should spend $100 to replace it. The answer was 'yes'! This rotisserie makes cooking a chicken so delicious, so juicy and so easy that I couldn't imagine just roasting a chicken in the oven, again. The spits are sharp and easily fit into the chicken and onto the gears which rotate the chicken. There is a rotisserie function or just a rotate function (without heat). My model has a dial to set the temperature (figure 15 min/lb for the chicken). The instructions say that the spits can hold two chickens but the one time I tried two chickens they were too big and didn't rotate properly. I also cooked a boneless beef roast that was around 5lbs and it came out incredible and medium rare. You can also rotisserie a small turkey. I had done that once and it was also amazingly juicy. The product comes with a base on which to put the spits after cooking so you can slice beef, but I have never used it. The pan and pan top (onto which the grease drips) is easy to clean if you line the pan with aluminum foil, first. When my food is finished cooking and I've taken it out of the rotisserie, I clean the rotisserie right away, as it's much easier when everything is hot. As the unit cools down a bit, I take glass cleaner to clean the inside of the glass that usually has grease spatters. The product also comes with rubber/vinyl heatproof gloves to use to remove the spits from the rotisserie after the food is done cooking. I think the original was built a bit better than this, but that's usually the case as years go on, companies design products to be made less expensively. Even with this being slightly less impressive than the original model, I will continue to use on a regular basis. If you like rotisserie chicken from Costco, imagine having the chicken come out JUST as juicy at home with your own concoction of rub ingredients!!

Perfect!
This rotisserie will cook meat up to 12 pounds. It is exceedingly simple to operate, it is quiet, it cooks well and evenly, and it is easy to clean. I have cooked in this a number of times now, (chicken, ham, ribeye roast, and turkey) and I have been pleased each time. If you are thinking of getting a rotisserie, I would highly suggest this model and brand. It is fairly compact, and I was able to set mine on top of my microwave.

Cooked great
This thing is nice! Easier than my gas rotisserie as this is set and forget. First run we did a 3 pound rib roast. Hour and 15 mins later came out perfectly ! Nice crust outside and juicy inside .

Great Rotisserie!
It turns very slow unlike the original one I had but it browns the chicken OK. You should read the instructions as it has 2 settings A&B and some other changes. It seems to baste the chicken fine and cooks quickly. I am still nervous about the motor and hope it doesn't give out. So far so good and I enjoy having a larger rotisserie so my prime rib can easily fit. When I first used it the light flickered but it stopped after 15 minutes? Works fine now. I thought they were out of business so jumped on buying it.

Very effective cooking method and easy to use
This oven works great as rotisserie and creates juicy well done meats. Our favorite for pork loins. Takes up quite a bit of counter space so we store it in pantry until need to use it.

Easy to cook a great chicken
The oven is very well made and easy to clean, the design is carefully thought out and simple, instructions are clear and easy to follow. My first chicken was delicious — golden brown and juicy. I’m looking forward to trying other foods such as leg of lamb. I am an experienced cook and I appreciated how easy it was to cook a perfect chicken. I think it would be a great gift to a new cook or a busy person who needs to get meals on the table quickly. It’s almost fool proof.

Love it
I had the extra large one years and years ago. I gave it to my friend thinking I would buy another, turns out that big one is discontinued. But this is great even though it's a tad smaller. My favorite way to cook my turkey. Amazing results everytime.

The online advertisement didn’t mention that the appliance was US voltage specified. Kind of crazy considering that the item was being delivered to the UK. Because it’s a high power consumption rotisserie I had to spend £120 on a suitable transformer before I could use it. No negative comments about the appliance itself but I certainly wouldn’t have bought it if I had understood it was only suitable for US electric power.

Jag har använt rondo rotisseriet i Kanada i 20 år och var mer än nöjd med den. Tyvärr passar inte den här modellen och kopplar inte till svensk 220V och kontakt utan omvandlare. Den kommer från USA för 110v.
