Random House Books for Young Readers The Box-Car Children: The Original 1924 Edition

This was easily one of my favorite chapter books from my early years. I love having this in my library now. The book itself is pretty, with sweet and simple illustrations. When it arrived, I quickly sat down and read it. So many memories were brought to mind. It's a good read for youngsters today. These four children survived on their own by using their imagination, and through their own hard work. I still love The Boxcar Children!

This was one of the first books I remember reading as a child, and I fell in love with the entire series. I had an old vintage version of this book, but I’m afraid it’s either been packed away or donated, so I bought this edition for pure nostalgia.

Looks amazing and loved finding the differences from the story I grew up with!

This book is a wonderful classic available in paperback that all young readers should experience. It has stood the test of time and I highly recommend it!

This was my favorite book as a child. I was so happy to find that they make hard cover copies of the original writing from 1924. I read this book in 2nd grade and I bought it for Christmas for my 7 yr old granddaughter.
