BOBOVR M2 Plus Head Strap Twin Battery Combo Compatible with Quest 2,VR Power Bank Charger Station/Dock with B2 Battey Pack,Recirculating Power Supply System

I've had this for BoboVR headset for 3 months now. I use it mainly for sim racing, which means 2-3 hour sessions, maybe 3 times a week. I also do a bit of Alyx, Space Pirate Trainer and the like, but nothing too active.I held off on this strap for a while, as it is so much money, but I must say I love it now. Thought I'd report on my experience here, for others who aren't sure.At first I found that sliding the back pad down gave me an intense headache really quickly, so I had it slid up high on my head. Adjusting the velcro connection to the Quest (front top) seemed to resolve it. I still can't quite bring myself to believe that it made the difference, but \*something\* certainly happened. I now don't get any headaches and can tighten it as much as I like. Maybe my head just got used to it. Either way, it's fantastically comfy now, and has been since about day 3.The batteries surprised me. Didn't think I really needed them. Certainly not two of them. But one way or another I regularly end up swapping them both out during play, so am glad to have two. The other benefit I hadn't predicted, is that now I only have to charge the batteries, not the Quest itself. That's just a lot more convenient and means I don't leave my quest plugged in so have no fear of the dreaded melting charger port, or sunlight damaging the screens.A couple of weeks ago I tried it without the facial interface. Game changer! The FOV benefit is huge. Feels like I've opened my eyes for the first time. The focus sweet spot is also much larger. I had tried it previously on my Rift S and liked the FOV bonus, but it was too uncomfortable. With this strap it's fine though, as even with the strap on tightly, the Quest doesn't press against my face,it floats in front with just the the edges resting on my nose, but that isn't uncomfortable. It's also much less hot to use. Only works in a relatively dark room though, unless I use the silicon cushion cover to block out light (which works fine but is only resting in place, so is a bit annoying when removing and replacing the Quest).That's it. My BoboVR M2 experience. Hope it helps somebody.

This is a top upgrade for quest 2/3. Its even more comfortabe than the elite audio strap. It takes all the pressure off your face and its a lot easier to put on/take off for people who wear glasses. Adding a battery to the back perfectly ballance the weight as well. It's not such a bad price if you can get it for £85 with 2 batteries + Dock.Do your self a favour and stay away from the original torture straps that comes with the quest headsets.

Fantastic accessory, still going strong after 12+ months and having made all the difference to our family enjoyment of the VR headset, as we can play one after the other without having to wait for it to be recharged. Very comfortable too, much better than the standard strap. We keep both batteries charged unless on the headset, where one stays until discharged, following the usual advice about battery health and usage. Periodically, we have charged up the headset fully from the mains, but probably only once a month maximum. This was a brilliant purchase and after our long term use, I can highly recommend it 😁

The headset is super comfortable and the batteries are fantastic. It all feels really well made. Unfortunately the clasp inside the headset that allows it to be made bigger or smaller is made of a cheap plastic. It's not strong enough and as soon as I tightened the device, the gear slipped on the track and it would only tighten on one side. I disassembled the headset to see what the issue was, and the gear had slipped off the track. I put it back on but the same thing happened a day later. I've tried to repair it a couple of times but sadly the plastic just isn't strong enough. It's such a shame as the headset is fantastic other than that.Update: I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me (a) a replacement headset, and (b) a simple video to fix the issue. The fix worked (requires taking the back piece apart), and the headset has been working fine since. Great product

The default and Elite strap from Meta are extremely uncomfortable requiring excessive tension to hold the front heavy headset in place. The BoboVR M2 plus is extremely comfortable taking the pressure away and balances the headset very well. Properly adjusted the strap allows wearing the headset without pressure on my face moving the weight to the top supports and the bag. The two batteries allow extended use for many hours. So far the longest continuous use has been about six hours swapping the battery every two hours or so.The external battery also means I never plug the Quest 2 in to charge, only swapping the battery once the battery runs out. I get about two hours per battery with heavy use and a bit more if the application is less demanding.

Not sure how I managed without this. Before the meta headset would slowly drop bluring slightly and needing constant adjustment. With this it never moves. It also feels much more comfortable to wear. The battery doubles your play time. Its easier to put on and take off. Especially for my missus whose mass of curly hair made the standard headset and strap a pain to put on and seat properly. I would recommend getting a large hard case to keep it in as you can't put it back in the original case with this head strap.

The strap that is shipped with the Meta Quest 2 is ok, no issues with it....that is until I got this.Suddenly the original strap just seemed to be inadequate.This strap add more support, is easier to put on/takeoff/adjust and the magnetic battery connector on the back makes it easy to swap the battery without removing the headset.Two addition batteries essentially triples the running time of the headset, but you can be charging one battery whilst using the other and as magnets guide them to the right place on the headset or the charger you could pretty much stay in the VR headset all day, if you wanted to.
