The Vittoria Rubino Pro is probably one of the most popular tires off all time. Few other tires come even close to matching the Rubion Pro in weight, durability, all-around performance and grip. But Vittoria is never one to rest on their laurels, which is why when they came up with the G+ IsoTech concept for the Corsa tire, it was only a natural extension to flow that technology down to the Rubino. The result is that one of the best all-around tires has now become even better. The all-new Vittoria Rubino Pro G+ road tire brings the same handling and durability you (and everyone else) loved about the original, but now has a graphene carbon compound mixed into the rubber layup for increased mileage, puncture resistance and durability. That all sounds great, but the G+ compound goes even one step further and improves the cornering grip and rolling resistance as well. Combine that with a 3C three-compound rubber layup which helps give the different areas of the tire different handling properties.

Excellent tire
After running Conti gp4000's and getting flats often, I switched to this tire. They feel just as grippy and fast rolling, less expensive, easier to mount and never had a flat in a couple thousand miles ( and tires look like they could go another thousand). The rubber is thick. My tires have several small cuts which would have surely popped many tires. None of the cuts made it through to the structural section of the tire. I have run over and exploded a beer bottle on a high speed group ride, and I was sure I popped it after the loud pop, but they held up. Ran over bottle caps, found them wedged inbetween caliper and tire. No flat. 26 mile descents at 40 mph, and confident in the grip. Just a great tire and one I will stick to for many years, I'm sure.

Excellent Road Feel
For the price these tires are a fantastic deal. I started out with 23's and 100 psi. They rode good, quick, cornered well and lasted a long time. I liked not having flats and they fit easily over the rims. The rubber is soft and pliable to pull and roll over the rim. I changed to 25's and dropped to 95 psi and the ride was much smoother over chip & seal surface that has become the norm with road repair. The 25's were easier to mount, lasted as long as the 23's, just as fast and still no flats. I have now switched to 28's with 90 psi. These tires slip over the rim much easier, cold and right out of the box, no need for tire levers on these. 28's with 90 psi rides like a dream come true. They are a bit heavier but NOT slower and now I look for bumps in the road to run over. My riding time has actually improved. I definitely recommend these tires if you want the best for your money.

Probably overkill but if you have the money, buy them.
Slightly biased review since I was coming from a much s**** set of tires before. Background: Ride 15-20 miles a week, put these on my single speed commuter, ride in city so potholes and broken glass are common. got the 25mm size.So far these are awesome. The 100-130 psi rating is double the previous tire I was coming from and these are a tad skinnier so my bike is so much faster to accelerate and climb hills. Last ride I went through a light drizzle on the way home and the grip still felt fine. I noticed lots of other complaints in reviews on here about mounting but I actually thought these were easier to mount than a couple other sets I have tried that weren't flat. I will say if you have a slight dent or bend in your rim, these tires will make you notice. I did end up getting the bead to stay after about 3 tries and they are holding steady now on the bent rim. First try no problem on the straight one.

No flats in 3.5 years
What else can I say? After switching to Vittoria tires I have not had a flat in 3.5 years!!! Just lucky? Maybe. These tires last long and provide excellent traction, rolls nicely. They are a little stiff at first but after a couple rides they relaxed nicely. These are my go to tires. Continental and Specialized tires I’ve used have not lasted as long as these tires and I have high confidence in Vittoria tires on rides. Each of those other tires lasted 1000 miles or less. Glad my buddy recommended these tires. Best tires I’ve used to date. I’ll update post when I get a flat but don’t think I will. Vittoria Rubino Pro g+ and Vittoria latex tubes is what I trust to have under me. The latex helps soften ride feel imo. Thanks, Vittoria!

Seems like a good tire. Good value.
Not many miles on this yet so I will have to update this in while. So far I like it. I like the white stripe on the side wall. Not a white wall but a stripe above the sidewall. It has some decent siping but more on the sides of the main contact patch. I bought the wider version hoping to soften up the ride a little bit but this tire looks the same width or maybe smaller than my front which is a 23. I had no problems mounting it like other reviewers have said. Slipped right on and the bead set nice. If it holds up well I'll buy another one for the front but I won't be afraid of a larger size not fitting. I gave it 4 stars because of the narrow sizing.

Seem like a competent example for the money
I was waffling between these and the Continentals that are in the same price range. Next time I buy tires I'll probably be waffling again.I now have a few hundred miles on these and they seem to be doing ok for me. I wouldn't gush over them, but they seem like a good choice. The blue stripe matches my bike, so that's a nice, although unimportant side benefit. I avoid riding in the wet, but I got wetter today than I'd like, and the tires seemed to provide reasonable traction.

As advertised, no issues.
Fast. Supple, sticky. Good ride and corner well. On the downside were kinda hard to seat reliably although for the sake of full disclosure I'm using 30 year old rims with 'em. Once seated though they have been great. I do not expect them to last much beyond 1000 miles though so if I were looking for a long lasting tire these would not be the ones. These tires are as advertised.

puncture-resistant, nice ride
Online cost much lower than the bicycle shop mark-up, and I installed the tires myself without much difficulty. The ride was very nice. And I like the puncture resistance which reduces my worries of a flat, though I do have a spare inner tube in case of emergency. After several hundred miles as of 8-28-18, everything is fine.I weigh around 150 lbs, the bike around 19 lbs, grand total maybe 180 lbs if include clothing, gear, and hydration. All riding is on roads, mostly asphalt, occasional concrete. I will try to remember to update this post with tire lifetime mileage.

Preferred Training Tyre
I’ve been using these tyres for the previous 2 years, I do high mileage during summer, and contrary to previous reviewer I have suffered very few punctures, perhaps no more than twice. Whilst I wouldn’t consider these as a racing tyre they do roll pretty well and I’ve found them to be fairly durable tread wise. It’s worthy to note as I have lost a lot of weight through cycling I have also found that I now also only suffer a fraction of the punctures that I once did. I like these tyres enough to have a stock of several spares.

Excelente compra.
