Fits 60s & 80s iron patio furniture.
Our patio furniture is hand-me-downs from our parents; one set from the 60s, one from the 80s. Both have the daisy flower design along the chair rims. The original leg pads were gone or barely there. Anyway, these caps fit perfectly. We refinished the furniture and restrained our deck. These caps made slide-ease and scratch resistance perfect! They seem to be of good quality and thickness. Use a hammer, if needed.

Installation May Be a Bit Tricky
These glides have 6 "nubs" around their perimeter that create the friction that holds them in. Those nubs make it virtually impossible to just hold the glide and press it in with your hand or mallet (at least on my chairs). So the method I came up with after removing the old glides was: 1) Heat a new glide in hot (~ 140 F) water, 2) place it on the floor next to a leg of the chair, (3) carefully place the leg cup over the glide and (4) push the chair firmly onto it which should set it in place nicely. Then use a rubber mallet, and whack it more if possible before it cools. Once you get the hang of it, you might try more than one glide at a time. This particular design results in less space between the metal cups and the floor than other designs I have seen. Maybe that results in less of a chance for them to come out when the chair is slid around.

Wrought Iron Patio Furniture Feet Caps
No one likes their patio floors to be scratched by outside wrought iron furniture. These little feet caps are pretty easy to attach too.

perfect fit!
Our 30 year old, wrought Iron patio set was leaving dark circles on our cedar deck. The little plastic foot protectors were worn out and missing on most legs of the table and 6 chairs. I was looking for cup-type foot covers and couldn't find anything to fit when I stumbled upon these. It took me a few minutes to figure out that they are inserted into the cavity of the foot, not over! They were a snug fit but not too bad after I figured out I needed to clean out the cavity first. Bonus: the chairs are easier to slide in & out now, especially for visiting grandkids. I'll update this review if they don't hold up to our Michigan seasons. But for the price, it would be worth replacing (and saving the beautiful cedar deck).

Hard to install
These are very difficult to install.

We had to put small cuts in the side of these to get them to pop in place but once in they are tight and they glide nicely

Nice snug fit. They have all stayed in place and chairs and table slide easily. They were out on a patio set from 2002. Very pleased with them.

We purchased a second hand wire mesh garden table and chairs for our yard which we repainted and it looks lovely. However the plastic feet were cracked and the chair feet were scratching our fieldstone patio and some were starting to leave rust stains. These feet were ordered to replace the damaged feet on our set and they worked perfectly. These were easy to put on and have so far lasted all summer, saving my new patio. I would definitely recommend these.

Good, however they are a little too large for my vintage furniture. I cut away the tabs and cut a few evenly placed slits around the edges, then I easily tapped them into the feet of my furniture. So far so good.

It’s tough to get the caps aligned and in but once in place they haven’t fallen out like my prior replacement ones did.
