My use case: You could buy an extra $130 charging speaker dock for your Pixel Tablet or you could buy this and carry the dock and Tablet to the second chord. Works a charm.

Seems to work fine as a replacement cord for my Pixel Tablet Dock as well. Haven't seen any side effects to using this cord yet.

good product and good quality

I own 2 Google Nest Hubs. When one of them stopped working, I correctly guessed it was a power adapter issue, not the speaker. I tested the non working speaker with the adapter of the working one, and the speaker started playing again. So, I was happy to find this Google branded replacement on Amazon -- ( I don't think Google sells these parts, at least I could not find it on their site). Unfortunately, this replacement lasted no more than three weeks. Waste of money. My other Nest Hub by the way is still functioning with it's original power adapter. Chances are this was a used or refurbished product. I am still looking for a brand new Google power adapter for my Nest Hub, but I won't be buying it from this vendor.
