Very sturdy but the straps on the knee pads are too ...

Very sturdy but the straps on the knee pads are too short and the straps on the elbow pads are too long. I've had this set for about a month now and I've gotten so frustrated with the straps that 8 times out of 10 I only use the wrist pads. When I do use the knee pads I don't strap them. I stopped using the elbow pads all together.
