I installed these on a bench mount combination belt and disk sander. The disk have excellent adhesion. In the past older sanding disks would fly off the plate but these held nice and strong. The adhesive back is protected by a peel off paper. This 60 grit disk ate through hardwood quickly. The grit itself seem to hold up very well after repeated use trimming red oak. Highly recommended.

I thought the first flying saucer was my fault. After carefully cleaning the aluminum plate with solvent, the discs will still not stick. If I am using the disc sander, it will be fine. But if I am running the sander to use the belt, the disc will eventually fly off on its own. I use the belt on my sander a lot, and I have given up. When the disc falls off, my sander is a belt-sander, only, until I desperately need a disc sander. That's how tired I am of having to apply (or reapply) these miserable sanding discs. I could buy some spray adhesive, I suppose. But while I'm at it, I will probably buy some new sanding discs.

Quick delivery. 60 grit disks are sharp and aggressive. Excellent for shaping. Grit adhesive is very good. These have stood up well to a wide range of hard and soft woods, and leave a surprisingly smooth cut. Disks hold up well to gentle wire brushing to remove clogs. I have used with wood, metal and bone.
