Silver Brush Limited 3008S-1-1/2 Black Velvet Square Wash Paintbrush for Watercolor, Gouache, Inks, & Dyes, Size 1-1/2 Inches, Short Handle

My art teacher recommends these brushes. They are soft, hold a lot of paint and hold their shape. Very good quality brushes and I recommend them.

Black Velvet Silver watercolor brushes are excellent but expensive. They are well made and should last a lifetime. They hold water well and deliver paint smoothly. The round brushes maintain a sharp tip for detail work and the flats cut sharp edges. My current favorite for watercolor.

I love these brushes for laying a wash. Works great. They are a little pricey for a synthetic brush but I think worth the money.

Silver Black Velvet brushes are one of my favorite - the blend of squirrel and synthetic hair holds a lot of water/paint and also has good responsive "snap." This 1/4" flat is a good little brush. However, the packaging was awful - the brush arrived looking just like it does in the photo, with hairs askew and no protective cover at the head nor fixative on the hairs to hold them in place or to an edge. Fortunately the brush itself is quality enough that I mended the brush immediately on arrival (a bit of hair gel and used my fingers to smooth it all down and put the hairs to a proper "edge" then let it dry), and waited a couple of days before first use. After rinsing the hair gel out, the bristles maintained their edge, and the brush performs well.

This brush is really nice. It holds lots of water when needed and it has a nice sharp edge.

These silver brushes are always well made, pricy but if you are a water colorist this is your brush (even if you are a so so watercolorist). Definitely not for kids. This is an adult brush

This brand changed my paintings. One star deducted as there was no starch/stiffner in the bristles. The company says they use starch for on all size brushes. It was just in a ziplock bag w/o protection. I needed it for a project and used it and it seems fine.

Cette marque est top. Chère mais de qualité. Convient parfaitement à mon travail d'aquarelle.

Expensive but worth every penny. I recently bought a different brand set which was also expensive and useless, so I decided to stick to this brand and "wow' it makes painting enjoyably smooth.

The best watercolor brushes i tried so far! I bought the flat one 1/4 and the flat 1/2 one. They stay square straight and they are just amazing for swatches !!! I also have a round 8 and its really worth the price ! A good brush changes everything!

Reconozco que es un poco caro, pero es lo que tiene la calidad. Tenía un montón de brochas de diferentes tamaños de van Gogh sintéticas y era frustrante. No cogen suficiente agua, se abren....vamos un asco. Este, sin embargo, es suave y te permite difuminar la acuarela de forma uniforme. Aunque es plano te permite muchas opciones de colorear por lo moldeables que son sus pelos. La verdad que los pinceles Silver Black Velvet son de una calidad superior. Este era uno de los que me faltaban y me alegro un montón de haberlo comprado. Las otras palestinas quedarán para el rincón de los recuerdos y me da una rabia..... Qué pérdida de dinero hasta que das con pinceles buenos, de verdad.
