Just buy it—you will love it
Terrific coffee dripper. I got this to supplement my one cup coffee maker for when I have guests. I now use it daily. You can easily make one or two cups of delicious coffee with this easy to use dripper. It has a substantial weight and fits nicely over all my cups. The construction is top quality and it is easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. Highly recommend!

Makes a great cup of coffee!
We own one. Purchased for both our adult kids. Makes a great cup of coffee. Easy to use, easy to clean. We've owned ours for a few years and it still looks nice.

Kalita Coffee Dripper Makes The Best Cup Of Coffee
I have 5 of these Kalita coffee makers. I keep two at my apartment and two at my condo. I also keep one at the office. We actually have two coffee makers at work but why settle for less than the best? Some people like having plastic in their coffee with those plastic cups - not me. We have an industrial coffee maker that makes... well, industrial coffee. People at the office freak out when they see me making my cup. This is the best coffee maker money can buy. I tried just about every coffee maker and the Kalita delivers an excellent tasting cup of coffee every time. It is extremely durable and worth the price. The quality is outstanding.

Great pour over for beginners and Pros
Excellent brewer, balanced extraction, only thing that could be better is the flow rate. it is slightly on the slower side.

Great solution for a quick pour-over cup
I normally use a coffee press for my morning coffee, and much prefer it to other methods. But I was looking for a way to make a quick cup with less hassle and easier cleanup, and after doing some research decided to try this pour-over gizmo. I'm very happy with it: the three small holes in the bottom allow the hot water to drip slowly through, improving the brewing. The size is right for a small to medium cup, and I was able to use just a regular cone filter I had left over, didn't need to go find (and pay for!) some special size of filter. (The larger filter sticks out over the top, but it doesn't hinder anything.) So I wouldn't recommend this for the finest cup of coffee you've ever had, but I would definitely recommend it for the quick and easy pour-over cup for anyone who wants that.

Ok with caveats
This is 185S, not 185. However it takes 185 size paper filter. It's a slower dripper compared to Hario V60 Metal dripper (2-4 cups). I prefer V60 for coffees I drink. But Kalita being slow dripper is not a negative. This is how it is. You may need to grind little coarser compared to V60. I grind extremely fine for V60 (couple of notches above espresso). For Kalita I had to grind a bit more coarser. My normal Brew times are 2:45-3:00 minutes. This dripper is very light-weight. But that doesn't mean it's bad quality. It's Made in Japan and the quality is good. Handle is welded to the dripper and the surface inside is not finished. This looks ugly. But doesn't affect coffee making process. For $40 dripper like this I was expecting better manufacturing process from Kalita. This is single-walled dripper. So you will need to pre-heat dripper once. If you find this dripper for $30, then buy it. I also have 6-7 types of different Kalita drippers (metal, ceramic, glass) but I have never used them yet. But I think this particular style of Wave dripper is much more widely used. There is a newer Wave version, which I have but not used. My Anaerobic coffee tastes bright, juicy on V60. But on this dripper it tasted a bid muddy with sharp acidity. So I'll need to dial-in it properly.
