Are these oem makita batteries or after market batteries with the makita brand logo on it, logo looks odd small in size?

I honestly had a similar concern when I purchased these, but I made a good gamble. these ARE without a doubt legitimate Makita Batteries. (I don't do after market) The label style tends to change ever so often, I think that is what accounts for the smaller label. I was quite pleased with my purchase of these batteries, work as well as all my other 5 amps do. best wishes.

Yes, as far as know they are all compatible. I've been charging mine for the last couple weeks without any trouble.

That is something you have to answer yourself, I have always bought the Makita branded batteries and haven't had any problems. I also wait and look for good buys on the Makita branded accessaries
