The closest comparable product would be something like a canned shave gel. The feeling and the ingredients are better and at least a bit more natural. I find that over lathering reduced shave quality. For me, the best way to apply to a wet face is to basically make a thin layer covering the shave areas, with some foaming being good as long at it is not excessive. The gel does not get caught in the blade as much compared to other shave gels that I have tried. I would say the foaming characteristics are not that strong if that is what you are looking for. Overall, this produces a very good shaving experience without unpleasant irritation, and it has a nice, mild scent.

A different shave cream. A lubricant, not a foamy white soap. Apply liberally to coat your beard, it won't foam up! This is better for a smooth, close shave and it does NOT dry out your skin and make it feel tight and raw. Trust me. It may take a few tries to adjust and make the transition.

This is an amazing shaving lotion. The brand I like went out of business. It was slick and re-activated with water but wasn't heavy and wouldn't clog the razor. I used soap over some of these other shave gels and foams. This stuff is perfect. Exactly what I needed to replace my old favorite. Doesn't clog my razor, cleans off easy in running water or hot water in the bowl. Smells great too.

Shave gel works well and has a pleasant smell, similar to menthol or eucalyptus.

It doesn't foam and it's a bit pricey for the amount (which will go fast even though I only shave every other day). Three stars because it smells nice, but I won't be buying this shaving gel again.

On the lookout for a good shaving gel. This aloe one was promising but then I got so many pimples because of it. Not great for sensitive skin at all.

You figure in capitalism a company wants to make the most money but bulldog messed that up by changing the formula for this product. There is no smell or fragrance anymore it’s basically just cheap oil with nothing else at this point. The formula changed and now this is worthless. Do not buy it’s basically water.

Personally, i have not used it yet because the consecutive interviews require me to look baby face. However, i have used it on my dog and he now looks like a lion. 5 stars for that though it looks like he could eat me anytime now...

I did excpext the result it's amazing
