I can tell this is the real stuff!
I have fostered many dogs & my new house was all carpet 😬, hence, I consider myself an expert in cleaning up both male & female urine. I use pee pads but sometimes it's hit or miss. Also the males choose to mark their territory, so when I moved, I threw everything away that was damaged, including the furniture. I plan to remove this carpet as well, but until then, I must dab, spray, soak, and clean with a portable rug cleaner. I first start off sprinkling the spot from above with baking soda. It draws the liquid up and out. After scooping that off, I spray with either Odo-ban, Angry orange, or some other carpet cleaner. But now I have Zeiff probiotic enzyme solution & have used it on older spots that I have been treating with everything but no luck. I sprayed the areas with undiluted solition. Right away it smelled better, but when it dries will be the real test. I applied enough to reach into the pad and I will let it sit overnight. I have a blacklight flashlight that I use to find the spots. Most of the time I wet the spot with pet store type enzyme cleaners, wet vac, then treat again & let it sit. I bought the shark rug cleaner; the cleaning solution smells good & the oxy solution works excellent on older stains. It removes them completely. I tried essential oils, vinegar, pet shop enzymes (so many that it's too many to list), febreeze, etc., & read that only the enzyme cleaner can digest the bacteria that causes the smell. I've tried cleaners from the store & none of them worked. So, I would use the orange oil and/or Odo-ban rug cleaner to give the area a lasting scent. I'm not a fan of pressing towels into the urine spot, but lightly dabbing is okay. I find baking soda draws it all up & I use a lot & sprinkle the spot until I have a good 4 inch fluffy pile. So far this enzyme has been working on urine, drains, toilets, etc. when it dries will be the real test. I may have to repeat the treatment, but if it doesn't work, I'll updatey review. I bought the citrus and it's not strong or overwhelming.

Worked well, just be patient!
You need to give this some time to work!! My dog had a UTI and had an accident on the carpet. Horrible smell!! My normal carpet pet shampoo didn’t put a dent in the smell. I purchased this product and poured it, about an 1/8th of the bottle directly on the spot and let it sit for 24 hours. I then added some to the carpet cleaner machine tank and soaked it and sucked as much moisture out as I could. It smelled ok for a day but 2 days later it got worse. I was discouraged and thought I was going to have to replace the carpet. Another couple days go by and I noticed the smell was dissipating. It took a solid week before the smell went away. I got the orange scent but wish I would have gotten the scent free. The orange is kinda yucky but does cover the smell at first if you need immediate smell coverage. Just be patient. It will work.

Affordable and Effective!
We had been using Jeff's evil emporium enzyme for a few years for our senior GSD, but the price increase was insulting. We are currently fostering a litter of 5 kittens and are on our second gallon of this Zeiff 'multi-purpose probiotic enzyme cleaner' and it is as effective as that other brand and much more affordable and the fragrance is not overbearing just a light fresh scent. Do not use with hot water because it will reduce the effectiveness of the enzyme. What has always worked for us is to pretreat stains using a 32 oz spray bottle of 5 oz enzyme to 28 oz of cool water to dilute. We even use the spray bottle mix on our vinyl flooring to neutralize and clean urine and feces. We pretreat with our diy spray mixture on all machine washable fabrics. Works great for food, sweat and blood stains. We use 4 oz on regular size washer loads along with detergent wash on *cold*. Heavily soiled fabrics might require two seperate enzyme washes, but that is rare. Dryer on low heat or air dry.

Works As Advertised
Throw this product into your carpet cleaner and it’ll become your best friend. It’s very easy to use and actually works. With just a little elbow grease, both the stain and odor were completely removed. While I’m not a huge fan of the citrus scent, it’s definitely not a dealbreaker. If you’re dealing with a lingering smell that just won’t go away, this is a must-have. I’ve tried many enzyme cleaners, and nothing compares to this one. And best of all—it’s pet safe! Highly recommend

Removes all unpleasant odors and stains
I bought the small one first and oh wow! Got all the old Mansion smell out of the clothes! Had to soak it in my laundry tub over night since my washing machine want soak longer than a soak cycle- empties as safety precaution automatically if I turn it off ( learned something new about my washer lol. I did add a cup of baking soda and a cup of vinegar to the cup of this stuff . Tub was full to the rim lol. Also used in my regular dog bedding laundry in the washer since normal washing plus laundry beads no longer got wet dog smell out. Only did it once w soak cycle and voila-dog smell totally gone. I used about 1/2 cup in the softener compartment, normal amount of detergent plus laundry beads . I also used it to shampoo my hall runner. Added 1/4 cup to carpet cleaner. Clean and smelling lovely now. I have 3 small dogs and 2 are boys that for no reason at times lift their leg .. I’ve made a spray bottle mix for those times. They don’t seem to be able to sniff out those areas anymore lol. Hopefully this big bottle is the same quality as the smaller one. I’ll know with my next “boy” laundry. So far very effective in the smaller bottle . FYI I even got out ink pen marks. Used it full strength and elbow grease. I was just amazed!

Not a fan
The sprayer broke when I screwed the lid and on. The product left my floor sticky and it smells like mint not my favorite. I was disappointed with it.
