This remarkable two-part epoxy coating protects fiberglass hulls from water absorption. It’s formulated with Microplates that creates an overlapping water barrier. It’s also great for repairing gelcoat that has been damaged by osmotic blistering. Excellent adhesion to fiberglass, composite, metal and wood Suitable for use above and below the waterline as a universal primer for all surfaces Long overcoating times add versatility & flexibility InterProtect 2000E has a natural structure within the epoxy coating to create a barrier against water permeation called Micro-Plates. Technically, the InterProtect 2000E Micro-Plates formula provides millions of overlapping microscopic plates. When bound in the epoxy coating, they create a barrier similar to shingles on a roof. The Micro-Plates eliminate any direct path for water migration. InterProtect 2000E is one of the key components in the Ultimate No Sand System, preferred by first class North American boat builders.

Great product takes like 6 coats to protect from water intrusion. Also helps to alternate colors white then grey and so on to insure proper coverage. Also I don't recommend applying when it's really hot because it will start to cure fast in really warm conditions. Also it helps to not mix it all at once unless you have help applying and the longer the nap roller used the rougher the surface will be when it dries. I found a 1/4 inch nap roller to be perfect for my application. Hope this helps
