Soft, light weight, not itchy and don’t slide at back of heel.I used these for my half marathon and they were very comfortable. No blisters and I like how they have a little bit of compression for support on my foot, fun color accurate to the pictures.

I think it’s made of less wool than before. Still sewn well but it feels more synthetic than my older ones. Not sure if it’s worth the price anymore.

These are some of my favorite socks hands down. I love the quality material - the way they slide and feel seamles on my feet and their color combos are great as well. They are pricy but have a lifetime guarantee . I have used these to hike the AT and would not chose any other brand of sock to do so at the time of this writing .
