I waited until I had used up both bottles completely before making a review. I used the "DHT Blocker Shampoo and Conditioner" on my hair, everytime I washed my hair(about 3-4 times a week) for a little over 3 months. I have an autoimmune disease and have to take Prednisone everyday. I had long, shiny, healthy hair all my life, but after 2 years of Prednisone, my hair was in terrible shape. About 6 months ago, my hair became extremely brittle and started cracking off and falling out! All the hair on the back of my head was practically gone and lost all my length! My hair was midback long, but had cracked off at the base of my neck and was barely shoulder length. I started researching online and found out that Prednisone can cause a person to release a hormone called "dht" and this could result in hair loss and severe hair damage because the DHT attached to your hair follicles and damages it. I found this product and ordered immediately. I used it religiously for 3 months. I left the shampoo on my head for at least 5 minutes, same thing with the conditioner and after about a month, I could see and feel my hair growing back! 3 months later, my hair is growing below my shoulders. Not only that, but, all my hair feels and looks much better than it did, a few months ago. I don't know what I would do without this product. I might have went bald without it! The shampoo really feels good on your scalp and you can feel it tingling and reinvigorating your scalp and hair! It contains caffeine and I think that really helps stimulate your scalp. The conditioner leaves your hair soft and tangle free! I guarantee this product will help you because it really helped me.

Great product, my only complaint is the shampoo coming with the pumps and traditional lids. Pick one or the other, it's a lot of waste!

This is my first time trying this one and I use one that's triple the price by hair restoration labs it works very well I've notice a difference so have my friends/family the issue is my heart always felt damaged and dry. I can't say anything about the DHT blocking in this set but I used shampoo let sit 2 min then same with conditioner. I love the smell coconut smelling. I have to say my hair is super super soft and very shiny I don't have the same issue with people saying conditioner left hair greasy but I only use a small amount to rub into scalp and hair I'm a fan next times I'll get bigger bottles for sure!

I love the shampoo and it works great but….. why can’t I buy JUST the shampoo-I don’t use conditioner!!never have, never will! I can’t continue to order both as a pair because one,it’s wasteful,and two,its too expensive this way

Just arrived, and I am excited to try this! I will post an update on the results. The consistency is smooth and rich, and it smells delightful! Update: This shampoo and conditioner, is AMAZING! I've lost most of my hair, from a medication that I was on. The medication made my hair fall out tremendously, and left my hair fine. I started using this, and I'm seeing a change in the volume of my hair. I was a bit weary of trying this, because I didn't know if it would work well on African American hair. It does!!! I am definitely a believer in this product. I have used this product twice, since buying it. And it hasn't disappointing me. My hair feels clean and redreshed. It has bounce, and isn't weighed down. I was was a bit confused on the instructions (on the shampoo,) where it said to use the conditioner before shampooing. Then, on the conditioner it said use after shampooing. I just went with what I knew, and used the conditioner after shampooing. I need a conditioner afterward shampooing, and did not want to end up with my hair being dry. I will post an update after a couple more months.

I have purchased this shampoo 6 times thus far. It's a little pricey so I have tried to find alternatives. Every time I try something else, I come back to this. My hair is Fine and Thin but I have allot of it. It gives me texture and volume without weighing it down or making it feel dirty. A trick my hair stylist taught me long ago. Use conditioner first. Then shampoo. I can get away with washing every 2-3 days. With most other shampoos. I have to wash daily. Otherwise my scalp is oily. 2 thumbs up from me!

I was so excited to try this product because I’m currently suffering from hair thinning/loss. Not sure the cause yet but I needed something to help in the meantime until I got results back. Well after using this product for about a month, I strongly believe it made my hair fall out even more rather than help it from thinning. I started using a different recommended shampoo and conditioner, and I completely different results than I did with this one. I threw it away immediately because I was losing so much more hair than before.
