Great product and customer service
Works well with my two monitors and has a nice modern design. I also say that the customer service was really great. I ended up getting the older model of this product and it didn’t support the higher resolution on the second monitor and this current model does and so pluggable was able to Give me a refund for the old model and get the new model even though I was passed the Amazon return deadline so now I have the right equipment and everything‘s going great so I thought that was nice that they were able to accommodate me without any problem at all!

Worked first time out of the box after failures with other manufactures' products
Tried several other options, and each encountered a problem with resolutions, maintaining settings, or video quality. I'd given up, but, out of frustration with a lack of a workable desktop setup, I went back to give it another try. I ordered Plugable's USB-C laptop dual-monitor docking station, which arrived the same day. I plugged in all my USB devices (camera, mic), network, audio, and monitor cables (1x HDMI, 1x DP), powered on the hub, and plugged it into my MacBook Air M3. After connecting the USB-C to my computer, I downloaded DisplayLink from Plugable's website. Installed the software and both external monitors popped up with no muss, no fuss. Quickly set both displays to the max resolution (3840x2160) and arrange them according to my setup. Booyah, worked perfectly. No problems, no triage to figure out what something didn't work, software failures, none of that. Twenty-four hours later, having worked using the Plugable dock, everything is still good. Based on this experience, I would not only recommend this product but also try other Plugable products in the future. Thank you!

American brand, loving it so far!
So far it's working perfectly. I bought this docking station with dual display ports specifically because it's manufactured by an American company. I didn't want a Chinese brand because I didn't want to worry about any spyware hidden in the drivers. As for daily use, it doesn't get too hot during a heavy workload and it charges devices very quickly. I'm also impressed with the image quality for my dual monitors using the display ports. Very nice! There was a shipping issue with the first one I ordered. Then I ordered it again and the 2nd one was delivered on time and in brand new condition. (I hate it when I spend extra to buy new and it's actually refurbished 🤨) Anyway, I will update if something happens, but right now I'm very happy with my purchase.

Infuriating Product, Look Elsewhere
I purchased this product to get my laptop off my desk and connect to 2 displays. I selected this product because it had multiple HDMI ports which was needed for my configuration. Setup was easy enough, but I had issues initially with the dock disconnecting from everything, and the only resolution was to unplug/replug. After a few days, these issues calmed down and I didn't think about the dock at all, which I think is the state you want to get to with a product like this. After changing my desk configuration though, issues abounded, with the dock disconnecting multiple times within a few minutes, interrupting productivity and becoming extremely frustrating. It does eventually seem to get to a workable state, but I'm not convinced yet of stable reliability with this product. Plugable's tech support mainly just suggests to disconnect everything, and reconnect in a certain order, but this doesn't always resolve the issues. If you value your sanity, I'd look elsewhere for a laptop docking solution.

Second times the charm
Based on a recommendation from Lenovo, I purchased a Plugable UD MSTH2 docking station for my Lenovo V15 G4 laptop. That unit failed to work with my laptop even after assistance from Plugable technical support. Plugable suggested this unit and provided directions for downloading the latest driver. Plugged this unit in, connected my laptop and all the peripherals; turned it on and everything worked perfectly. The USB-C provides power and connectivity. I have only attached a single monitor so I can't say how well it will run dual monitors. This unit was a little more expensive than the UD MSTH 2, but the convenience is worth it. I had no problems with unit, but if you need assistance, the support from Plugable technical service was fantastic. They were responsive and gave great troubleshooting directions.

Pretty solid hub, a few notes on M2 Max/Pro compatibility
This worked well enough but there were a few incompatibilities that surfaced with the DisplayLink drivers. Ultimately, I went with one a little (a lot) more expensive since I end up using these for 6+ years. A couple of things to note for those looking at compatibility. Pros: * 2 External Displays worked just fine. I had one connected via Display Port (DP) and the other on HDMI, worked perfectly fine with 1080p @ 60Hz (all i have available to test). * Charging the M2 worked great. * USB 3.0 external drives had solid performance. Cons: * The built in OSX Nightshift feature does not work with the DisplayLink driver. You can use f.lux, but it will only work with DisplayPort connections. If you have a monitor that does not support DP, an HDMI to DP converter will not resolve this issue. It has to be DP from monitor to dock. * Hulu and various other video streaming services would render a black, audio would work but no video while watching in Chrome. I had to disable hardware acceleration to get videos to play properly. * You HAVE to install and RUN the displaylink manager. If you exit the application, you'll lose those external monitors. Running the application does require some resources, I think I saw the manager running about 12% CPU but i never noticed lag or anything like that while using it. * I could never get the unlock with Apple Watch feature to work properly, I believe it was related to general incompatibility with screen saver usage and the display link adapter. Generally, the hub worked great. To find one that had full compatibility I had to pay double the price $399, so if you don't want to pay that much and can work with the above quirks, this is actually a great deal on a solid hub.

Es un muy buen Hub, elevado de precio pero se nota la calidad y eficiencia. El DisplayLink funciona perfecto asi ya puedo usar mi Mac con M1 con 2 monitores

I was actually looking for a hub which does not need power to work. However, after installing the driver and learning how to use this, I'm quite happy with this new hub. it doubels up as a charger for my laptop and more importantly, for my 2 4K monitors. It is so hard to find a USB C hub that fworks with 2 HDMI inputs, and at 4K. Still wish I could find one that does not need power, but so far the one I have currently is starting to give me trouble - few of these I bought last longer than 9 months.

I use the Plugable 13-in-1 docking station with a MacBook Air M3, a 32-inch 4K @75Hz monitor, and a 32-inch 2560x1440 @75Hz monitor in Extended Display mode. Each monitor, along with the built-in Retina display, operates as its own desktop/workspace. Both monitors are connected via HDMI outputs. Additionally, I’m utilizing the 1GbE Ethernet connection, and I have a Logitech StreamCam Premium 1080p 60fps webcam and a Logitech Blue Yeti USB Microphone connected to the USB-A and USB-C ports. At the same time, my Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THC Certified External Speakers are connected to the 3.5mm audio output. Performance & Reliability Everything works flawlessly. The driver installation was seamless, and I’ve had zero issues with performance. While I don’t use the SD card reader regularly, I tested it, and it functions as expected. I frequently connect and disconnect my MacBook from the dock, and each time, everything reconnects instantly without requiring a reboot or restart. This level of reliability is impressive and makes the dock an effortless part of my workflow. Build Quality & Design The dock feels solid and well-built, though its finish doesn’t quite match Apple’s premium, but that’s to be expected. It does get warm to the touch while charging, but never excessively so. Value & Features While the dock is pricier, it delivers precisely what I needed; the ability to drive two external monitors independently, which the MacBook Air M2 doesn’t support out of the box. That alone makes it well worth the investment. Wishlist for Future Versions One enhancement I would appreciate in a future version is including a couple of USB-C ports for increased flexibility. Final Verdict I’m really pleased with this dock. It’s a well-designed, highly functional product that performs exactly as promised. If you’re looking for a reliable docking solution for a MacBook Air M2, M3, or M4, I strongly recommend it!

Worked with my Macbook Intel 2020 model with the help of a driver. The DisplayLink driver really saves the day and avoided a lot of other issues with extended mode. Worked totally fine with my company laptop. Basically plugged and play works, it just takes one more step for the Macbook user.
