Protec Deluxe Flute Case Cover, Black, Model A308

I am extremely pleased with this product. The quality is nice, the bright color is really nice, and it's so roomy. I got it for my daughter's student flute. She has a nice hard chunky beginners Yamaha case. But we wanted an outside cover case with a pocket. Mainly so her cleaning cloth won't be in the main instrument case (don't store damp cleaning cloths in the main case. Could ruin instrument's pads, and mold can grow in the case as well). Her Yamaha flute case (with its own handle too) fits perfectly, and it's still extremely roomy. Could fit a number of things in that main compartment besides the instrument's case. But then there's that extra pocket! It would fit a piccolo case, instrument stand (not music stand, just to be clear), flute tool kit, and maybe more all at once. There's that much space! Because of the storage and roominess, it is a bit bulky-ish. A young beginner might be put off by that (some kids don't like having to carry an "larger" instrument case). But as a avid amateur flutist of 20+ years, I'm in love with it. It can carry so much. Zippers and material feel durable. The strap is nice, and I like how you can wear it as a cross over bag or just over one shoulder. Super pleased! I'll probably by myself one now.

Nice, protective case. I can actually fit two flutes in this case, plus all my cleaning tools. Comes with a tag. Nice bright color so no one can walk off with it if I am busy socializing at gigs.

The quality on this case is impressive, no loose threads, quality stitching, nice zipper, and the fabrics are rugged. You get all the little bells and whistles with the multiple handles, shoulder strap, ID card, feet on the case, and of course plenty of room. The purple color is beautiful in person and I do find the case is thick enough to decrease large temperature fluctuations. Would recommend to anyone!

I bought this for my son to carry his hard flute case, piccolo and a silk swab so he could wipe his flute down when he is done. I saw other flute students of his teacher had protec cases and I liked that they had room for flute care items. When my son carried everything in just the hard case that we got with his flute, he didn't have room for the extras and his silk swabs always got lost. My son got this roughly six months ago and even though he is a teenager, this case is tough enough for his heavy use. I was very surprised that this case holds a lot more than just a hard flute case, piccolo case and a swab. He can fit his metronome in it, a few silk swabs, his smartmusic microphone and now carries an extra silk swab in there and a few alcohol wipes just in case he needs to sanitize the headjoint. It really helps him stay organized in a neat little package. He was concerned that the case would be too big to put in his backpack but it fits just fine. I see him use all the handles and I think this is a testament to the flexibility of this case. He really likes the one at the end that lets him carry it vertically. The shoulder strap is helpful when he has a lot in his backpack and needs to carry his flute case separately and needs a hand for another instrument case. My son also plays the saxophone and that case doesn't have a shoulder strap so the fact that the flute bag does is extremely helpful for him. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. It was well worth the money. Additionally, it arrived very quickly. It arrived a day earlier than was estimated.

This is well made; spacious; padded; attractive. Big enough to hold my hard-shell flute case with plenty of room for pen and paper, etc. Good protection for my flute. Can be slung over shoulder thereby freeing hands. Excellent product.

So far this has been a great case cover for my flute, even though I've only had it for about a month now. I'm impressed with the heavy-duty materials used, and it appears to be pretty durable. My B foot French-style flute case fits easily in the main compartment with plenty of room left over for cleaning rags and rods. My piccolo case fits nicely in the top compartment, and I also keep my flute stand in there as well. The shoulder strap is a nice accessory to the case cover, too. I thought the price was very reasonable for what you get in the package.

It's a flute bag. Pretty simple. It's a pretty nice looking bag, though; I've gotten quite a few compliments about it. The front compartment is easily accessible and can hold a piccolo case, two cleaning rods, a packet of pad paper, two cleaning cloths, two more cloths for the inside of your flute/picc, AND a metronome or tuner, all at the same time. (Yeah, I was surprised too.) My only complaints about the bag are the placement of the shoulder strap and the unstableness of the metal studs on the bottom of the case to keep it upright. The hooks are quite far back on the case, so when slinging it over your shoulder (especially with a piccolo in the front pocket) the bag tends to lean outward a bit awkwardly. Also, unless you have a b-foot hard case that you're putting into the bag, there will be extra space inside the main pocket; not a big issue. The inside of the main compartment is very wall padded, so your flute will be nice and safe; if you have a b-foot flute and your case is extra long, it will fit quite snuggly (like mine). Just to clarify, this is a case that is meant to hold a professional type hard case for a flute (not the bulky, hard student flute cases). It is a case COVER, not a case in and of itself. Definitely recommended if you need a replacement case cover, or a case to hold both a flute and picc, or play a lot of gigs and need a pocket to hold all your gadgets, whatever they may be (except a stand...it's not big enough for a collapsible stand).

The case is huge! in a good way, it has a big pocket that I can hold all my cleaning supplies for the flute and my piccolo can fit in there too. It protects the flute so well and has padding on the inside with amazing build quality. With its good color and excellent portability, I would recommend it to anyone.

Great case and lovely colour. Too big for my Sankyo flute case but I like that as it leaves space for polishing cloth, cleaning rod/cloth blotting paper, etc. pocket fits my Yamaha pic with room left for my glasses case.

Wow. For the price of this case, the quality is outstanding. Although I expected it to be smaller I am pleased and confident that my flute will be protected with the interior padding, waterproof fabric and tough exterior. The handles are handy (haha) and the shoulder padding for the shoulder strap is a pleasant and welcome surprise. The outside pocket is roomy and can probably fit a piccolo if you really needed to, but for my case would just be a tuner and some flute maintanence cleaning supplies. This fits my b foot flute a little snug but nevertheless fits perfectly. Definetely an amazing product and cant wait use it during my first year of university.

This bag is easily customized to accommodate my overtone flutes and cleaning equipment. Good materials & construction.
