Just plug it in and it works great. It’s different than the one come originally.

Solid cord. The US cord that came with my unit is a foreign plug with a US adapter. It works but I like having the solid one piece cord. I read of a few people who said the adapter jiggled loose at times.

Received this when I ordered the Panasonic boom box - don't remember ordering it but I will keep it in case I lose the cord that came with the boombox.
