Le Creuset Stoneware Cafetière French Press with Stainless Steel Plunger, 1 Litre, Serves 3-4 Cups, Bamboo, 60706084080003

I’d had several cheaper coffee presses one of which let me down after only a week or so when the glass just fell out and smashed in the sink! I wish I’d bought this Le Creuset one to start with! I was a bit surprised it was made in China (what isn’t though!!) but the quality is top notch though and is obviously made to their high standards. It’s a pleasure to use and look at for that matter! Obviously its a little heavier that steel or glass ones so that might be an issue for anyone with impaired wrist strength, a litre of coffee is basically 1kg plug the jug of course. That said just for me I generally only make 1/2 a pot at a time (4 scoops of coffee for a half and 8 for a full pot) definitely recommend this coffee press over cheaper offerings any day!!

This is a great cafeteria or french press the best bit about this is that it retains the heat of the freshly made cofffee or tea brilliantly but you do have to pre heat the cafeteria with a kettle of water to get it hot before you brew your coffee in it - this really does help keep the coffee hot , I never thoug About the weight overall so my husband pours the coffee , it’s easy to clean and comes in gorgeous colours plus the cups were reduced as well that matches the colour , it also makes a lot of coffee

Really night coffee press. Had a few over the years and this feel much better quality. Makes a lovely tasting coffee, easy to pour and filters it well. Highly recommend

Does the job. Helps to make great coffee and maintains heat. Easy to wash.

Le Creuset things are well made and always beautiful. We splashed out on this cafetière thinking that it would be harder wearing and longer lasting than others we used. We drink a lot of coffee. One of the big pluses of this model is that the ceramic nature keeps the coffee lovely and warm so, in the unlikely event that there is any left, you can have a second cup at a late date and it is still perfectly acceptable drinking temperature. As parents of little ones, this is an excellent accidental feature! However, we dropped the lidded part and it smashed. We also accidentally chipped the lip a tiny bit for pouring although this has not affected the usage at all. We sought hard to try and find a replacement as it looks possible from the make up of the french press part of the cafetière to be able to do this. Sadly, we have not yet found one at all. We felt that Amazon sells this cafetière at a good price and it has kept us well caffeinated for many months but we wish you could buy the parts separately for it if it gets broken.

Just love it! The colour. The quality of it and the coffee it makes. Pours beautifully. Large enough, if filled, for 6 cups.

Lovely product and quick delivery

This matches my kitchen perfectly and as it was recommend by the Telegraph testers, it was tested amongst all of the most expensive and some cheaper ones, the reviews were good so I brought it to try for myself, I was also very keen on the colour. The plunger goes down smoothly, which was important and there were only a tiny few coffee grounds in the mug I did put hot water in it first, thinking I always warm a teapot so why not a coffee pot, it held the heat well. It's a good size. It was easy to clean, the reduced price was an added bonus, now I need more of the matching mugs to go with it. I like the look of it so much that at the moment it's living on my hob.

Ha rispettato in pieno le aspettative

Absolutely love it! Had this on my wishlist for a couple of years. Then, when it went I sale, I snagged it for a real deal. Couldn't be happier. (Have also bought matching cups for it)

Magnífica, muy elegante y gran capacidad para 1, 2 o 3 personas. Facilidad para limpiarla. Filtra muy bien el café molido, aunque siempre vaya a haber un poso en cada taza (lo cual es totalmente normal en una prensa francesa). Dicho esto, la compré por 15 euros menos de lo que está ahora. No sé si por el precio actual la volvería a comprar

Love this colour so much. It’s actually my third one of these French presses. The first was a gift. I chipped the first one after 4 years, then got a new one as a gift and my kid dropped it after a month and now I bought this one for myself. I will never not have one of these coffee presses. They are the ultimate.
