Good! - Oh boy this thing is heavy solid steel. I’m a strong guy but it was heavy to carry two handed. I actually found it easier to carry it in one arm like carrying a textbook in high school. The pole is also solid but manageable. Assembly is easy. Put the tapered screw looking thing into the pole bottom (with tapering towards bottom), then twist the pole into the square steel base. There is a round grommet to put on top of the pole, just push it in. Finally there are two hand twisting screws to tighten when your umbrella actually goes in. That’s all. I placed my base on concrete so I used a piece of rubber under it so I could have finger room to lift and push it to its proper place. When I got closer to the end I removed the rubber and I was able to push and maneuver the base in small increments on the concrete until I got it perfectly under the patio table.
