Coffee is Great!
Baronett coffee is the best! I love the convenience of using pods in my Hamilton Beach one cup coffee maker. The dark roast is great! It’s my Good Morning cup for sure!

Very mild for a dark roast
Since my spouse died, I don't make pots of coffee. I have a small one cup machine, but don't like dumping grounds and washing them out of the mesh filter basket. I found these pods, and I prefer dark roast coffees. While this one is a dark roast, it is extremely smooth, not bold as I expected. I do like the flavor, thouugh, and the convenience. The 3-pack lasts a long time for one person, so I'll be re-ordering.

nice light flavor
this is a good coffee for those who like a lighter flavor. if you are into robust, then this is probably not for you.

ghastly Baronet coffee pods: Kenya dark
This company no longer offers the wonderful product that these KENYA dark coffee pods used to be. I have subscribed for some time. Opening the bag once rendered a swell of marvelous aroma hitting one’s nostrils and then, an excellent brew. Now there is no scent from pod bags and the resulting coffee tastes like dishwater - - - to use a tired but sadly accurate phrase. Baronet representatives insist that nothing has changed, which is utter hogwash. Don’t bother buying this. You, too, will be very disappointed in the final taste experience. “This old gray mare ain’t what she used to be.”

Outstanding flavor, but frequent leaks inside the bag
About half the bags I receive have one or two leaking pods inside. This both makes a mess and diminishes the value of the product by giving me 16-17 usable pods instead of 18. I put up with this for a while but I've decided to find a different brand.

Great for hotel stays
Many times when we stay in hotels, the regular coffee pods tend to run out. We took these on a recent trip and the coffee is great and we always had enough.

I use these pods like tea bags
I put two of these in my big mug . I let them sit for awhile and I love the flavor.

Kenyan Dark Roast is a Favorite but...
We have a Senseo and it's been a challenge to find the coffee pods for the machine in the U.S. Amazon is pretty much the only place you can get them save a couple other sites (Daves Coffee and Melitta). I like very dark roast coffee and I have tried a lot of different soft pods from Senseo, Melitta, and Baronet. My favorites are this Kenyan dark roast from Baronet and the Melitta dark roast. I have tried both the Baronet Colombian and the Small Village Organic blend. The Columbian had a weird off taste to me, reminiscent of soap (yuck) and the Small Village blend was too weak for me, and had a dusty/dirty smell and flavor. One problem with the Baronet pods that we keep having is that there are often pods that are not sealed in the bags, there are loose coffee grounds all over and. There is usually at least one paper pod that is open and the coffee grounds are everywhere (messy) and the unsealed/open pods cannot be used. And then trying to get help on Amazon is not easy (you can go around in circles trying to get help on the site, it's difficult to navigate, not user friendly). Overall, if the pods arrived in good condition and were consistently sealed properly, this Kenyan would be 5 stars. However, this ongoing problem of open and unusable pods is a hassle to deal with and frustrating.
