Yum Asia Thai Premium Nutritious Whole Grain Riceberry - 1kg

I thought I would try this as I figured it might be an interesting addition to rice based meals. I mixed it in with brown Jasmine rice by the same maker (which is really nice by the way) and made a meal where the rice is added to the meat and cooked that way. Everything turned purple, which was hilarious... but it tasted great. So since then, I cook the rice separate when I add this type of rice in. It really does taste nice, and when I looked it up, it is full of goodness. I also add it in with white rice as it gives it more benefit. The family loves it! It really does complement brown rice nicely, and is so good for you. On practical things, the packaging is good - it is a compressed kilo so it stacks in a cupboard easily which is great and I live in an area where we sometimes get cut off in winter, so being able to stack a good staple like this is very convenient. Once I tried it, I bought in a few kilos as it will last unopened on the shelf for a couple of years - the package is small and condensed so doesn't take up much room. I am so happy I took a chance on this !

Everything is great, except the smell. The taste is amazing.

Arrives vacuum packed to keep it fresh. The whole grain rice takes more cooking but has a delicious nutty flavour.

Très bon. Goût un peu différent que j aime bien. Attention au SCI : contient beaucoup de fibres. J en mange de remis en temps et en petites quantités

Muy buena compra. Además del toque bonito, cumple con sus promesas. El arroz es muy rico y hemos probado ya la cocción de lentejas, quinoa y brownie. Todo muy bien. Y no es muy grande lo que permite entrar en el armario de la cocina cuando no lo usamos
