Weatherproof Copier Paper, 11" x 17"

I bought this paper for making boats to float on a small pond. As a trial, we folded one sheet, added a burgee, and sent her off for a two day sail. She remained upright and intact during that time. We took her out of the water and she dried nicely, ready for another trip. She survived the second sailing without more than a few heavy stains from being constantly thrust against the rocks on the sides of the pond by the wind. The dirty areas remained waterproof and are still strong and she has kept her shape after drying out again. If you need waterproof paper for an origami project, I highly recommend this paper. It holds a crease, is not too thick, does not tear easily and is truly waterproof. I'm glad to know that it's recyclable, too.

Using this for electrical schematics. bound in a poly report binder for over the road mechanics. Printed on a Ricoh large MFP laser printer. This is a tear resistant paper. Much better than the standard 20lb we were using. I tried spilling water and coffee on it then rubbing it in. If it just gets wet wipe it off and keep going, the print stays on.Not totally waterproof- the coffee left a small stain-it is paper but for the price its really good stuff.

I got these for printed maps. Used caltopo.com and created a .pdf. Printed on this paper and have a great map.

It seems to be waterproof. However, in some cases, small patches of toner came off the sheet in areas with heavy coverage, especially in dark blue areas. Was using a new Canon Imagerunner laser copier, which has no problems with regular paper.
