I underwent knee surgery and brought this product in hopes of relieving my pain. I have had a lateral and medial tear in my meniscus, a torn ACL, a medial and femoral condyle fracture. I also have peroneal subluxation in my left ankle. Using this product for the first time, I couldn't really tell if it worked or not. But after using it everyday for a week, an hour a night on the highest intensity, I noticied a reduction from the agonizing pain in my ankle , although I still have the popping and cracking, but I don't have to constantly stretch and massage my ankle like I used to. Also, my knee is healing much better than before. After the 1st week of using it everyday, I find myself only using it once a week for an hour long. When his TN returned in June, we could not afford another trip ($10,000) so researched some home devices in hopes that they would work for him. The devise is small and easy to operate, and he doesn't have to travel for the treatments. He uses it when he's watching TV, so no interruption in his daily routine. After a month, he is again pain free. While he was still healing, he told me that he would get the pain, but it was manageable, so we considered that a win. The only down side is that he needs to hold it like a telephone, and sometimes his arm gets tired or goes to sleep. Small price to pay for the results! Would be nice to have some kind of hands-free head gear, though.
