Excellent addition to my very basic smart home.
I don't have a lot of 'smart' devices in my cottage other than echo devices. I had one table lamp that I bought as an experiment, but been meaning to get more bulbs to set up zones for my living room / study / kitchen, which is one big open plan downstairs room.Got these for a great price, way less awkward to set up than my last one, including grouping for different zones. It's great being able to control the whole zone, or just a single bulb when two might not be required.Whites are super bright, but I find the colour options work best at lower brightness and give a better atmosphere that way. Only minor niggles are that Echo / Alexa voice command generated colours seem pretty washed out compared to the presets in the Tapo app, and the app itself only has 7 colour presets as far as I can tell, so you'll need to edit the originals if you want a new default. You also can't add or create your own 'themes'. There's two in the app - Party and Relax - but it would be nice to be able to get creative with more of your own.Other than that, delighted with these bulbs. I can now change the atmosphere in the room from my sofa, be it watching a movie / TV show, playing games or reading a book and browsing. Heck, I can even turn them off! I may never leave the sofa again!!

Ok, 1 connection issue
1 bulb keeps disconnecting, enough to keep it as a backup, but features good, install was ok. Works with echo ok

Great security add-on
We have these in various rooms, set to come on and go off at a variety of times. It is simple enough to match the sequence to times that you would need lighting in particular areas. We set the hallway to come on each evening at dusk and to go off at just after eleven PM for example. When we are out for the evening, or away on holiday, the lights continue to come on and go off. When away for days, I will, via the Alexa app, remotely put a light on for a few minutes, here and there, making it seem as if someone is moving around the house. Simply put, it would be much more difficult to know whether the house was empty or not and generally a thief will look for the easier target.Of course I will never really know how well this would deter someone, I do however benefit from a greater 'peace of mind' and that is well worth the effort.

I love it
The media could not be loaded. I love this brand of bulbs, it's very easy to use and install, you just put the bulb in and then download the app and it's super fast and easy to connect between them, as well as easy to connect with Alexa. You can schedule a time to turn the lights on and off, you can also change the color of the lights either by the App or by Alexa.and you don't have the problem of connecting to the wifi, because there are other brands that ask you to be in 2.4 mh and on some occasions this is a problem.

They're OK.
The low light 1% isn't low enough for a nightlight and at 100% it doesn't really illuminate a room. The app mostly works from presets which is annoying when you want to change settings between two that you haven't already configured, you have to activate one you don't want then change it.The app also works on sliders which look ok but make setting a specific colour in the white setting a pain.Overall not as configurable as I'd hoped for, which is a real shame, the KASA ones also by to link work so really no reason these shouldn't.I found that although the Alexa skill works, Alexa frequently forgets some lights exist or that they support more than just on and off, leaving you to once again stab around in the dark for the manual switch. No it's not WiFi, the app works fine, Samsung smart things works fine, Google works fine. Just Alexa, and just with the TP link stuff.
