Capella Flavoring Flavor Drops Cucumber Concentrate 13ml

Excellent cucumber flavor. I use it in water and it tastes just like fresh cucumber water. I would like to thank the very smart and insightful reviewers who noted that their bottles were expired. When I looked at the bottom of the bottle, I saw the date, and I assumed it was the production date because the all CAPs letters above the date were PROD. Perhaps I am not the smartest person who has reviewed this product; other extremely intelligent and thoughtful reviewers made the astute observation that the PROD date noted was not a production date, but rather an expiration date. Again, I am not very bright, but from the other reviews I now understand that the letters "PROD", perhaps from a root in Latin or Ancient Greek, refer to an expiration date and not a PRODuction date as I assumed. I am so glad there are other reviewers of this product that have shared their wisdom and insight. I wish I could count myself in the company of these gifted geniuses. These are the people that make Amazon reviews excellent, accurate, and meaningful.

I have been looking for a 'cucumber essence' to add to my drinking water. I enjoy the lightly flavored cucumber water I find in the grocery stores, but they are too expensive. I have tried the cucumber powders and other products, but have found this one to be the best. I almost did not get this because of all the negative reviews. But after giving it a shot, I found a winner. The instructions state to use one drop per ounce of water (or more if you prefer) and I find that perfect. One drop per ounce does recreate the perfect 'lightly cucumber flavored' water that I was paying about a buck fifty for in the supermarkets. As for the negative reviews, I can only say that I did not taste any other chemical flavor other than cucumber. I do not know if it is because I have a well, and there are no chemicals added to my drinking water which may be inadvertently affecting these drops, but with my water, there is nothing but the light cucumber flavor. My only complaint is that the bottle is so small. It's great to take with you when traveling or dining out for when you want the cucumber water taste on the go, but when I'm drinking a few quarts of water a day, these drops do not last too long. But they are cheaper than buying the bottled water. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. My quest for 'cucumber flavored water' at home has come to an end. I tasted nothing but a nice, light, cucumber flavor when added to my home well water. I will continue to purchase these and hope that the manufacturers see that they should make this in a larger bottle for their customers!

Product is best of the 4 I’ve tried so far. If you use enough to get a strong enough taste it gets a little bitter. Otherwise it’s too mild in taste.

I can smell cucumber, but literally zero flavor.

I was extremely upset when smart water discontinued their cucumber flavor. I was extremely addicted! I just found this flavoring and was skeptical. I received it today. 5 drops in a 16.9oz bottled water..yes! Yes! Yes! Hell yeah! Its perfect!! And even my 8yo loves it and drank 2 bottles of water! (She's special needs and doesn't like plain water) this is so much better than having to use other water flavor enhancers for her! (And my plan is to even try backing off the 5drops to 4.. then 3.. then 2.. so eventually she will learn to drink "just" water..) One thing I will say..I wish the bottles were bigger! I need like a gallon size now!
