Unique shower experience, exactly like being in the rain.
It's great, exactly like standing in rain adjusted to whatever temp. you wish. My shower pipe is in the wall of my shower-bath tub. I found it necessary to purchase: "Naiture Offset Brass S Style Shape Extension Shower Arm, Extender Tube Shower Head, Brushed Nickel Finish". This is a special goose neck pipe that will elevate the Rain Shower Head by abut 5 more inches, and extend it a few more inches over to where you normally stand. This is a special pipe, not too expensive, and necessary, unless you are fortunate to have a shower pipe coming straight down from your ceiling. The shower head is well made; you will notice it feels heavy. Possibly too heavy to be held up by the wall pipe alone. I was afraid leave all the strain on where the pipe attaches to the shower wall. So I tethered the "special pipe" with stainless steel picture hanger wire. If you have 8 ft cielings, your "special pipe" will run horizontally about 4 inches from the ceiling. It only takes a short loop of stainless steel picture hanger wire to tether your pipe to the ceiling. Put the tether support near the end of the horizontal section of the pipe and make it taught enough to remove the leverage force from where the pipe attaches to your shower wall. My tether is only 4 inches, of silver wire and isn't noticeable. You will not have to worry about it breaking off where it attaches by pipe to the wall. I can imagine if it accidentally broke off from the wall it is so heavy (and has sharp 90 deg corners) and would likely damage your bath tub. I love it and have absolutely no relationship with the company that makes the pipe extender I bought. There may be other pipe extenders, if you can find another one like it, fine.

Amazing shower head !
Installation was a breeze, the brushed finish matches our shower arm perfectly, the pressure and water flow is amazing, just like in the pictures, every shower feels like a "downpour". In other words, it's like having a spa experience that we absolutely love. If you opt for the larger version for a more luxurious new shower head, then this one is definitely worth the investment.

Great Rain Shower that actually delivers sufficient water as I was expecting / hoping.
I just received my Derpras 16# brushed nickel showered. It was easy to install and I immediately decided to take a shower. Boy, what a wonderful difference over my 8" Delta that my builder put in (which was an upgraded head to begin with.) As others have mentioned, this is NOT a water saving device. :-) But for those times when you just want to relax and enjoy lots of water, this does the job. It was so relaxing I didn't want to get out. I came nicely packaged in a cloth cover / bag and was in perfect shape. All I had to do was screw it on where the old one had been. I also purchased a 12" square extension arm so that it hangs down lower from the ceiling. But because it has such a good (and large) pattern with plenty of water, I can have it higher. Very happy so far. Update: After using this for more than 2 weeks, I can honestly say I love this product. I have a big shower with a 9' ceiling, 2 wall shower and this rain shower. Whereas I never used my rain shower with the 8" upgraded and nice rain shower head installed by the developer / builder because it was basically worthless, my rain shower is now my go-to shower head of choice. Couldn't be happier. And while I get plenty of water as is the design of a rain shower, after using it a lot I don't feel I'm wasting water or depleting my water heater significantly faster than before.

Holds up well after 3 years; Derpras Stands Behind Their Product
This review is after three years of use of the rain shower head. It holds up fairly well with no leaks and still strong rain from the jets. The calcium from the water in my area creates pink deposits near the jets that need periodic cleaning. The stainless seems of high quality. There were some rust spots that developed around a few of the jet openings and at the corners of the shower head. I contacted Derpras and they suggested I do a vinegar soak and brush scrub, which I did. This removed most of the rust spots and made the few places that remained were lighter. Because some rusting remained, Derpras replaced the head under warranty - I was surprised at the level of service behind their product and will definitely buy their products in the future. I do think if I had cleaned the head more frequently with the vinegar as soon as the rust spots appeared, this would have been prevented, and the head would have remained in like-new condition.

Looks great but water droplets very space
Honestly the pressure is a little weak on this one. We installed 3 different rain showers in our home reno. I thought this was going to be my favorite because of the size but I can't even wash my hair under it. It is like literal rain. The other rain showers have enough water droplets to rinse product out but still remain a serene experience. I think maybe because of the large surface area the water is really dispersed and sparse. But it looks great and is definitely a WOW piece in the bathroom. If you are looking for a true rain shower this is it but it isn't very functional in my home.

Beautiful. Works a Wizard!
Needed to replace a 12" rain shower head that had 18 rows of silicone nipples (we have very high water pressure). If a 16" had been available when we set up our shower we would have bought it. I looked at Hansgrohe, which is what all our other bathroom fixtures are. Their rain shower head is 10" wide and costs $500. Moen's is small and round and costs $400. Delta's is the same, and $600!. This 16" wide head has the same number of rows as our old one, just spread out more. Great flow, wide enough to completely drench you by turning it so the corners are on the sides. It's thinner than our old one, really beautiful. I went on the seller's site and inquired about the warranty. They replied immediately that it is 3 years, full replacement if there is a problem, then added that I could extend it to four years by registering with them. It was an easy decision.
