Giorgio de Chirico: Life and Paintings

This was a long time coming, a comprehensive book on the master, great research. The only drawback is the quality of the reproductions, the paper is matte so the colors do not come out that well, a pity for such a great book and a surprise coming from Rizzoli. You see in the included photo the milki white stripe , such a pity.

A comprehensive fascinating look at the prolific work of a superb metaphysical artist.

This may be the most informative, insightful and profusely illustrated biography of De Chirico ever written, unfortunately the quality of the prints is disappointing. The best thing that I can say about them is, some are not so bad.
