My daughter wanted this for her fourth grade year. The wheel features were the selling point and held up. However, the straps for carrying broke within a few months of use. Unfortunately, they broke close to where they were attached and repairing this was impossible. She was happy until this happened. Nonetheless, the backpack wheels held up for the school year.

I bought this for my middle-school-aged daughter. She decided against using it after three days (!) so I now take it with me to work. I love the fact that it is wheeled, although I honestly can't fit too much in it that would make it heavy. The main compartment is a bit small, partly because the frame that supports the wheel mechanism is bulky and rigid (as it needs to be). There are plenty of smaller compartments, an external mesh pocket on each side, and a thick comfortable handle for when you need to grab it off the floor and carry it. I hardly ever use the shoulder straps but they are nice and wide and comfortably padded. The wheels roll smoothly for me without issue. I got frustrated at first because the straps would drag on the floor and get caught under the wheels. I eliminated that problem by looping the straps over the handle before I telescope it out to roll it. Overall, a little pricey but a nice product.

Product description incorrectly labels this print as suitable for boys and girls. However this print is more appropriate for girls. See attached picture where "girl rules" is written.

I have only used this on 2 flights and so far I'm happy with it. I previously used a regular back pack as my carry on but I didn't like how floppy it was and it didn't have wheels. I like this bag having wheels. It pulls fine as long as you aren't pulling a 4 wheeled suitcase at the same time. They roll differently and you end up going in 2 directions, so I used the shoulder strap on the back pack until I checked my big suitcase. This has a lot of compartments and it took me a little while to remember how I packed it and sorted things in the pockets. This has more room than my old backpack which is nice and it doesn't seem that much bigger. I was able to put it wheels first under both the 737 700 and the 737 800 Southwest planes (aisle seats). It would fit a bit better handle under the seat first but I wanted to be able to access my bag easily without having to keep flipping it around. I think this is intended for school kids but it has all the features I was looking for plus it is pretty. UPDATE: this does not fit well under aisle seats on Alaska Air 737-800. I ended up taking necessities out and storing the bag overhead. It fit fine under the Hawaiian Air 737-MAX window seat.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but I feel this is necessary to warn others. The bag I received was very poorly made. There were so many loose and excess threads sticking out everywhere, and some parts weren’t even sewn properly. The wheels came with an obvious cut on them, which makes me question the quality check (if there was any at all). The handle that is supposed to push down smoothly doesn’t even go all the way it gets stuck halfway, making the bag frustrating to roll. On top of that, the material feels so thin and cheap that I doubt it would last even one trip. Overall, this bag was a huge letdown and absolutely not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone looking for durability or quality.
