The Awakened Brain: The Psychology of Spirituality Paperback – Import, 25 August 2022

As a practitioner in the field of Mental health, I found this book to be an absolute gem. A book written with the courage to question "conventional" models of treatment, I truly enjoyed the fluid combination of hard science supplemented by subjective experiences of spirituality. There were several moments when I found myself overcome with emotions and awe. I do think this may be the need of the hour, given the rising Mental Health crisis in the world.

The book is special as it is about how spirituality is deeply wired in us explained with scientific proof and it comes from a scientist. One lessons that is a balm for us while we are running our busy lives is that our highest good is in knowing that in this world we are all connected and ultimately we seek to be connected to the highest power that is peaceful and all loving
