great!!
Doesn't budge (at all!) on my specialized roubaix, excellent size for the top tube. touches my right knee just the tiniest bit when climbing out of the saddle (sometimes). could have even used a 'half-height' version (if one were made). doesn't even really need the front clip (but I did attach it however it doesn't fit perfectly around my steering tube, but is fine regardless and the 3 straps are sufficiently long for my frame and head tube).Cover is solid, not mesh.Opens "lefty" which I suppose is to leave the typically stronger right hand/ arm on the tri bars (??), although I use this on a non-tri bike so would have preferred a 'righty' version - I use this with my right hand absolutely no problem.Use it with my shot bloks / powerbars and 'just in an emergency' dog mace (sorry doggie owners - would only be if absolutely necessary! quicker to get it out of here than a jersey pocket)

Better for modern bikes
I bought this bag because I hate riding with loose items in my pockets (phone, keys, wallet), and have tested it on two different bikes. On my older bike, the thin steel tubes and quill stem system affects the mounting stability of the bag- I used some old, cut up tubes to effectively increase the top tube thickness, but the quill stem mounting area (where the modern headsets would have the spacers) isn't as easy to wrap up due to the narrow shape and the octagonal locking ring, which leads to the top tube bag sitting off center at times - but that is also related to a large phone size issue. On the newer bike, the wider alum tubes with fat spacers on the headset means the bag is more stable. I do wish the spacer mount connected to a higher point for better stability, but I assume it's a deliberate design choice to deal with lower stems/fewer spacers. In terms of space, I have a case on my LG G2 phone which already has a 5.2" display, and the phone only fits in diagonally, so a 5.2" is probably at the limits of this bag. The diagonal fit causes the bag to sit off center. As a side note, if you use a downtube shifting system, a bag that sits above the top tube is probably a better choice as it won't overlap and block off access to your shifters (I had originally wanted a hanging rather than sitting bag).

Great place to stash your stuff
Needed a bag to stash misc items that I hate to have in my pockets when riding. This Topeak bag does the job quite well. I have two of them now strapped to the top tube on both my wife's and my own Trek carbon fiber hybrid bikes. The tubes are rather robust in size but the straps on the bag went around easily. There's no wiggle with this bag. And, the main compartment is a great size to stash a garage door opener in as well as some small snacks or gels. In addition to the main compartment there are two smaller compartments on the side that would hold cash or some cards/id badge.

Almost perfect
Took a chance on buying this bag and I was pleasantly surprised at first but...after one day of use the deficiencies surfaced. It hold my cell phone, car keys and couple of energy bars with ease. My gripes are that when you do load it up, it tends to move side to side when you hammering up a hill. Readjustment of the stem strap helps reduce the movement but you'll have to do it couple of times each ride. One nice feature is the protective piece of nylon strap that goes between the plastic buckle and your frame to prevent scratches. I purchased the one with the rain cover, not the mesh cover as pictured. The bag is insulated but because it's black, it tends to heat up quickly and any food items will warm up in the summer sun. Also the flap that covers the bag is much smaller than the opening so it's almost useless as a seal...hot air or rain just flow right in. I gave it 3 stars because it is convenient, just not protective.

Great Bento Box
This works perfectly. It holds my iPhone 5 and a couple PowerBars. I needed to keep my iPhone in this instead of a pocket because the LG TONE HBS-700 which I love (about $80 at Amazon and it plays audible books and takes phone calls perfectly without cords to tangle) didn't connect reliably to my phone when my phone was in my rear jersey pocket. The bag can move slightly off of the vertical position at times and hit my knees; but this is rare and it is soft with no sharp edges, so my knees just move it back into position. This is not a rainproof bag. The material might be, but the flap won't completely cover all openings, so I consider it a rain shield. It fits perfectly on my Cervelo S5.

The phone fits and it stays in place
Our phones are on the large size. We both have HTC MyTouch 4g with cases. Many handlebar bags won't fit phones with a case. This was the next option and the phone fits well. It also frees up the bars; with tri bars and a computer, the bars are crowded enough. The bag is large enough to fit the phone in its case and a couple of bars or whatever you want to carry that is the same size. The rain cover might do in a light rain. It leaves some space on the ends that water might get in during a storm. We don't ride during rain if we can help it. That feature isn't important to us.

It DOES hold a phone and I like it a lot
Apparently there are multiple sizes of Topeak bags. Not at all clear in the description for this bag. This one is too small to hold anything... certainly not my cell phone. I have another Topeak bag... same style... just bigger. It DOES hold a phone and I like it a lot. My word of caution... don't buy this bag if you want to take a phone along on your bike ride! I gave up when I attempted to return it... waaaay too much "small print." Obviously neither Topeak nor Amazon wanted to take it back. No more Topeak bags for me!

way to small...
People talk about putting their wallet in there and power bars and phone etc..... no room - you can do 2 /3 - phone and 1 bar or wallet and phone (barely) its just to small - now if you just need to put a few little items in it, its worth it - it stays in once place well I will give it that - overall though just too small - my regular man wallet does not really fit into it with my phone and keys ? forget about it - will not fit. Qaulity is fine
