I understand you have to drag along a portable battery to plug this up to cool down. The back plate is icy cold to cool The iPhone down. Unfortunately where I go is the hottest place on earth ( I am a Death Valley national park tour guide) doesn't work for me. Not Thw neck cooling fan even with the AC. so I returned. But for any more normal hot place. You should buy it. It really does cool down phone real quick as long as you don't mind having it to plug in portable battery.

Works as it should gets Ice cold to the touch but the real issue is it does not spread cooling it just cools one spot that’s which does not improve cooling as I am still getting frame drops during gaming and hot cpu thermal throttling and ur gonna need a high watt portable charger to get full cooling performance which is about 50 watts which is INSANE but does cool at lower watts what I was using was 35 watts all I had it’s fine but definitely returning it it does not meet my expectations also ur gonna have to take off case and so much limitations to this product but at the end of the day it’s a premium product for sure but not worth 24 bucks since its a phone holder version If I would you I would just game on your phone in a very cool room

I DON'T GAME ON MY SMARTPHONE, BUT USE THE MAP FUNCTION. ON A TRIP, THE PHONE GOT TOO HOT. THERE ARE A LOT OF COOLERS ON THE MARKET, BUT THIS ONE CAME IN AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE FOR ME. YOU JUST PLUG IT IN TO A PORT AND IT GETS REALLY COLD. IT WILL FIT ON THE TOP OF A SMARTPHONE AND COOL IT WHEN ITS IN ITS DASH MOUNT. DIDN'T RATE BATTERY LIFE. I INTEND TO USE IT IN THE CAR ON TRIPS PLUGGED IN.

I rely heavily on my phone during long car rides, but it overheats during hot summer days. Despite trying various options, this phone cooler made my phone warmer instead of cooler raising its temperature from 28.0C to 30.4C and beyond. Even with my Otter box case on, the cooler's plate dissipated heat in a way that caused my phone to heat up, rather than cool down. Once I removed the cooler and put my case back on, my phone's temperature returned to 27C-28C. To keep the temperature down in my car, I plan to look for some USB-powered fans, as I don't want to use the air conditioner and risk making someone's food cold during food delivery.

Definitely cools the phone. I play Pokemon Go and running the game with an autocatcher outdoors in summer time for hours really puts a strain on my phone and causes it to over heat. The noise is minimum to negligible. The only reason I knocked off a star is because the size and positioning of the device makes it awkward to hold my phone while using it; then because it has to be wired to a power source that also contributes to the akwardness. I wish it could run on its own charge, that would help.

I have been using this for about two years. It’s the only way I can use my phone for navigation without it overheating and shutting off. I fold up the extra cord and use a cord controller to hold it together.

Did not keep this. Bought this for my mother but made her phone bulky.

this device works as advertised. remove your phone case. the device has a grippy film that transfers cooling with power. your device will operate faster and cooler. 100% recommended for gaming

It does not cool my device in any way, the screen brightness of the device is reduced, although there is no case on the phone, it does not affect my phone in any way, I am not satisfied in any way, I definitely want to return it if you have the possibility to return it and the phone is heating up.

夏場に車載するスマホが熱で機能停止を起こすことが多かったので、今年は早めに対策しようと購入しました。 設置位置は車載ホルダーに置いている関係上、リアカメラに被ってしまう形になるので、位置が良くないのは承知で購入しましたので、同じように使いたいという方は注意してください。 室内で試した時にひかなり冷えている様子でした。本格的な夏場ではないですが、最近は暑い日もあり、車内の温度も25℃以上になっていた際に使ってみましたが、こちらもある程度冷えている感じです。 今後の本格的な夏場にどの程度冷却されるかは要検証ですが、全く冷えないよりは効果がありそうです。

装着は簡単です。 バネが伸びる幅までのスマホに対応しています。 usbコードは入ってませんので別途用意が必要です。 普段はcpuに使うタイプに近いスマホ用冷却プレートを貼ってるのですが、厚みがあるとこのクーラーだと微妙に入らないので、薄いプレートを買うか考えています。 ゲーマーに限らず、外で仕事が多い方はスマホクーラーはつけないと熱暴走で故障し易いので、専用冷却剤はあったほうが良いです。 携帯出来るサイズですが…充電式ではないので外でもコードとアダプタが必要になります。 音はそれなりにします。イヤホンつけてしまうとそこまで木にはなりませんでした。

Overall the Blackshark Funcooler 3 is a decent phone cooler, however the interface medium isn't perfectly flat and won't come in full contact with my phone. So you'll likely need to add a thermal pad between the cooler and your phone to get it's full affect. After a few hours of playing games, it's able to still keep my Galaxy S24+ below 75°C on the highest CPU temp, and 35°C on the battery temp which helps preserve the battery life and prevents thermal throttling.
