Can this be worn in summer/early September??

I would say yes. I think it may be BEST in the evening though. However, you can kinda wear this one all year round. May not wear it at 3pm in 100 degree weather, but I wore this about 3 weeks ago (mid July) as an evening scent to an outdoor dinner and it has such a pleasant aroma and didnt feel "out-of-season". You definitely can wear it for September though. With the fall right around the corner, I'd say go ahead and pick this one up. It's a compliment beast, super pleasant, gorgeous display, and great price. A win for sure.
