Smith Performance Sprayers 2 Gallon Sprayer Specifically Designed for Acids

Works as advertised.

I use this to spray 20% acetic acid / vinegar on the weeds in my lawn. It's easy to assemble and use. I've had it for 4 years, using it several times per year, and I haven't had any problems at all.

Sprayer was great and then wouldn’t hold pressure. I mess up and was using it with commercial vinegar for weed killing. The reason it wouldn’t hold pressure was because I was using an acid (vinegar) and the seals of the sprayer was not meant for acids. Company gave me a rebuild kit and the customer service was really good. I rebuilt it (super simple) then bought the companies sprayer that’s made for acid. Sprayer is great!

needed it for a home reno/ cleaning project and it worked great. no complaints!

The sprayer and quality seemed great. However after two uses of using it with a non acidic chemical, the trigger assembly inside the wand has broken. I have contacted the manufacture, and will update if or after they reply. Amazon will not help.Update 7/2/24 after getting in touch with smith, they advised they would be sending replacement parts to me directly. That was on 6/21/24. I will update if they ever arrive.Update 7/3/24. I received a part in the mail. It’s not the correct piece. I have reached back out to them. I will update if they reply.

Firstly, I would have left at least a 4 or 5 star review for this pump sprayer, but the cost of the pump is the issue here, hence the 3 star rating. Overall, the pump works well and has nice accessories/ spray tips. The long spray wand is a plus and keeps you from having to bend over. I appreciate the durable construction of the rubber hose and ergonomics of the spray handle. The pump handle/shaft does seem to wobble a little when pumping! Not something you'd expect at this price point! Seems to work well for vinegar mixtures for weed removal. Only time will tell how well the pump lasts.

I purchased this sprayer to use with a strong vinegar solution to kill weeds. It goes together quickly and the spray nozzle adjusts from a spray to a stream. I can't lift it when full so I fill it while in my garden cart and move the cart around my yard. A few pumps and it sprays for a really long time. It also comes with two optional spray heads for covering large areas, like lawns.
