Great middle ground between game improvement and players irons
I have played the Nike Slingshots and Callaway Razr X irons previous to these. The X2 Hot Pro irons are great, despite the knocks on their looks (which I am growing to like btw) these irons perform great. As I have been slowly lowering my HC, I think these irons bridge the gap, very well, between game improvement irons and true "players" irons. They let you know when you have a poor strike with out being too punishing, they provide excellent feel as I have been working to improve my shot shaping. The distance is comparable to my Razr X iron set but they look much nicer at address, with less offset and a smaller profile, while also giving me a more aggressive ball flight than my previous GI irons. A solid 4 stars from me.
