This is perfect for converting rust. No need to remove it. Clean the loose crust and spray. It will be gone. Not for exposed areas workout multiplie coats. It takes primer, body filler, paint. It flat black and doesn't look bad. I will always use this for reworking metals.

Super nice to have it delivered to my door for same price as local auto parts store. Works great, dries fast, good value. No reason to spend $30-40 dollars on the powder stuff.
