POWERTEC 71735 Band Clamp for Dust Collector, 19-1/8 Inch

The best ever. Sealing is 100%, i have it connected on a 850 CFM exhaust fan that is sucking the powder and debrief of my workshop sanding and crafting work and it all goes to the bag with no leakage.

This Powertec Filter Bag has significantly reduced the sawdust coming off my Dewalt DW735 Planer. After viewing many more expensive options, I experimented with this setup and it's worked. I got the idea from a you tube video and was able to purchase the hose (2.5" diameter X10' dust collection hose),clamps (4" Thumbscrew Key adjustable hose clamps 5 pack), Adapter (Powertec 70136 4" Hose TO 2.5" Hose Cone Reducer for dust collection) and the Powertec Dust Collection Bag on Amazon. The bag has a see through window to let you know when it requires emptying. I use my planer frequently and it produces a tremendous amount of dust. The size of the bag enables a week air more between trips to the dumpster. The thumbscrew hose clamps make it simple to remove for emptying. I can leave the bag attached to my planer. The bag is made from an extra heavy material and would be difficult to rip. It easily unzips on the bottom of the bag for fast emptying. I do have additional dust collection with a shop vac and a cyclone, and this is unscientific, but have found this system for the planer superior. The powerful motor on the dewalt planer moves the sawdust rapidly into the bag. The bag tucks away under the planer stand and it's easy to bungee to the stand when in use. I appreciate products where the seller has paid attention to small details. This one will save you money and prevent your garage from looking like a sawdust blizzard.

I'm sure this fits the dust collector that it was intended for, but not mine. Luckily I was able to pop the rivets and adjust it to a smaller size. Very sturdy and works great when locked in.
