It has some nice features and in general the fits are good. At some point regreted the small scale..but that's not the kit's fault.

Loved Revell Models...since I was 7!
The Revell of Germany 03941 F-4J Phantom Ll Building Kit is another great model by Revell. Love the convenience of buying them here on Amazon, given that we don't have a hobby shop with the airplane selection we'd like to see. The only negative is make sure you order in a way that the model doesn't get packed with heavy objects (i.e. cans of soup) or by itself in a bubble mailer. The models survive, but if you're like me and like the boxes to arrive unbent, you'll plan accordingly.

A good kit
No collection of Navy jets is complete without a Phantom in VF-84 Jolly Rogers markings, and this kit is pretty good for filing that slot. Pretty easy to build, with good detail. The only issues I had were that the panel lines are raised (vs engraved), and I had a little trouble getting the canopy pieces to fit together properly.. I used a mechanical pencil to highlight the raised panel lines and it worked out pretty well. It's a good kit overall, and it wasn't ridiculously expensive (a pretty good value). I definitely recommend this kit.
