Very potent so literally your best bet is to use a 1ml syringe and add 1ml at a time. I treated 5 gallons of water with just 1ml bringing the ph down from 8.5 to 5.2. With that said the size is great for the value. The speed at which it takes effect is less than 3mins. It’s easy to use if you go slowly. Definitely measure out the dose, otherwise the ph will bottom out which can be saved with ph up but you’ll end up making a chemistry project instead of feed water.

This review is not a reflection of the product itself. Microblife products all work amazing.The product itself works wonderfully. It's got a great buffer in it to hold the ph steady. The issue here is not with the product, but in how the product is stored,handled ,shipped, and delivered. The product came open with the ph fluid all over the inside of the box and all over the inside of the broken bag that it came in. Could be a bit dangerous for pets if that was left out to leak. If this product is not properly stored, it's not gonna work properly. Unfortunately, Amazon does have this issue quite frequently in dealing with this specific brand of product. Microblife. Ive had to return a couple different items in the past for this reason ,returning a mess like this is so tedious...... This is in no way a reflection on microblife. Their products are amazing.

I use Distilled Water in my Aerogarden Bounty Elite hydroponics gardens. I also have Aerogarden Aerovoirs for each of my 3 gardens. Distilled water initially has a neutral pH but after exposure to air, distilled water absorbs CO2 and forms a weak carbonic acid solution at pH 7.0. I use the pH Down in the Aerovoirs to stabilize the pH to about 5.5. This refills the water in the Aerogarden Bounty Elites automatically with pH neutral water. Because this pH down uses citric acid (which kills algae growth), so I don't worry about algae growth in my Aerovoirs. This is a great solution for me. The result is that my Aerovoirs (between the two Aerogarden Bounty Elites), are algae free even in the presence of light! Phosphoric acid based pH Down alternatives DO promote the growth of algae.

Works great. But, it takes me 10ml per gallon to get my well water down to 6.6. I love this stuff, but I just can’t afford to use it when it takes 4x the amount than a phosphoric acid based pH down. Recommend for small grows, but not large.

For myself and my tap water 1ml/gal. measured at 6.5pH after resting. Your water may vary. Start slowly, let it sit and add more if necessary. USE A METER!

This is some really good and effective ph up and ph down for nutrient solutions. Is safe safe it’s effective and it comes with photosynthesis a secret that I think is phenomenal additive for your plants. I see more tri combs then I have ever seen in my plants after using this product . Give it a try

This product is very weak. It takes 3x as much as Humboldt, or bloom city. It will lower ph, but there are better options out there.

Unstable PH , i don't recommend it for hydroponics.

This is citric acid and is much weaker than phosphoric or sulphuric acid. Because of this, far less effective. You will need to use a lot of it, it will not be stable and will require multiple adjustments, and worst of all, algae will grow in your reservoir quickly.

It works although a little pricey
