I hemmed and hawed over purchasing this brush because I am very skeptical about online reviews since some can be fake or exaggerated, but I finally broke down and bought it after watching a review video on YouTube. I'm so glad I did!!! I used to apply my foundation with my hands until I bought an E.L.F foundation brush at my local Target. It seemed fine so I was using it for a long while as I debated this brush. (It's important that you know that it has only been in the past year that I've been buying more expensive make-up vs. drugstore stuff so I could never justify spending so much for a make-up application brush.) This brush is truly amazing! First of all, I purchased it from Etailz, one of the Sigma approved Amazon retailers. As a Prime member, I received my brush in two days in perfect condition and I am positive it is a real Sigma product as it has all the markers other reviewers said a real brush should have. Then I used the brush and I was blown away at how flawless my foundation came out that day! The brush is super soft and dense and the product just went on perfectly. I applied like I always do: pumped some product onto the back of my hand, dipped my brush in, and started at the center of my face, working my way out and up with smooth, circular strokes. I worked it all in and was thrilled at the the end result. Now, I am going to say that I am a firm believer that the foundation you use makes a huge difference as well (I use YSL Touche Eclat so it's a higher-end foundation that itself goes on flawlessly) but I most definitely noticed a difference between the application with the E.L.F brush and this one - there was absolutely no comparison! This brush is my new go to and I would re-purchase it in a heartbeat. Just be sure to purchase either from one of the approved sellers so you know you're getting a real Sigma brush (another reviewer listed them in a previous review) or go right through Sigma. I went with Amazon b/c of the super fast, free shipping from Prime. You won't regret your purchase, I promise! :)

The reviews are right. This is an amazing brush! It works better than any egg sponge I have tried, spreading foundation evenly and smoothly.

I have never heard of Sigma Brushes until recently, but I had been stalking the Sephora platinum Airbrush foundation brush SEPHORA COLLECTION Professionnel Platinum Air Brush #55 Professionnel Platinum Air Brush for a while, but couldn't pull the trigger on it because of the price tag. So I tried this round top Kabuki instead. I completely LOVe this brush! I was not sure if I should get this brush or the flat top Kabuki, I am glad I got this one because it gets in under my eyes as well as a wider application area. Actually this brush now doubles as my foundation AND concealer brush! I used this with my Bobbi Brown concealer Creamy Concealer Kit - Warm Beige - Bobbi Brown - Complexion - Creamy Concealer Kit - - , AND my coastal Scents camouflage palette Coastal Scents Professional Camouflage Concealer Palette , and the application under my eye was flawless. No streaks, no dry globby bits of product stuck in the tiny crinkles under my eyes! (I originally thought about returning the Bobbi Brown concealer because it was kind of chunky and thick when I put it on with my normal concealer brush) I literally just dab the brush in my concealer pot or pan, and starting in the crook between my nose and my eyes and sweep the brush back and forth under my eye and along the top of my cheekbone. It works even with my eyes closed, no need for a seperate brush for application and then another for blending. I used to use a flat synthetic paddle brush to pick up the product and apply it to my face, and then a fluffy eyeshadow brush (MAC 224) to blend it out so it looks natural. NOT ANYMORE! I have found the best brush for the task and it was like half the price of the brush I was originally thinking about buying. In the words of one Mr. Charlie Sheen: hello, "WINNING!"

I was really excited to try this brush considering all the great reviews. When I got it in the mail, I found it to be packaged very nicely, the bristles of the brush protected well. Before I used it I made sure to wash the brush and when I did so, some minor shedding occurred. The minor shedding continued when I actually used the brush for the first time. I was a bit disappointed about the shedding given the great reviews. I also found that buffing the liquid foundation on my face was not so effortless. I don't know if it's my technique, the foundation I'm using, or just my brush, but I found that buffing the foundation required a bit of force. Other than those two things, I found the brush to be incredibly soft and dense. Once I finish buffing the foundation, the coverage is very even and smooth. To ensure that my brush dries faster, after I wash it I usually spread out the bristles a little and let it air dry. Doing that, my brush dries in about 3 hours. This is my first flat top kabuki brush, so I don't have any other similar brush to compare it to. Overall, it's a good quality brush that should last a while if you take care of it.

Love this brush for adding setting powder to my makeup. Its flat in the right places and angled at the end so I can get between the eyes. Well made and sturdy. Good buy.

Sigma F80 isn't just a brush, it's a magic wand that erases all your facial imperfections :). I finally gave into the hype about this brush because i was having some real deal problems when applying my foundation. Cheap sponges made my foundation streak horribly and my fingers didn't apply as evenly and made me look cakey. And honestly I was sick of it! So here is my story on Sigma Famazing brush! Im normally not a stickler for packaging but I was so pleased that my brush came in a nice secure bag with a plastic shaper on it. I took the brush out and closely examined and it was in perfect condition, brand spanking new. I prepped my face and dabbed on my foundation and worked the brushes magic. The feel of the brush on my face was so soft!! Within a matter of min my foundation was applied, I was so pleased that this required so little effort. I looked at the results and I literally gasped and gazed into the mirror. Perfection!! No streaks no spots, this brush gave me a flawless finish! The brush smoothed and blended my foundation so beautifully. And my foundation is pretty thick! (Mary Kay 607 Bronze) I was blown away!!
