The good stuff for pros or classes who want to use pro ink
Beautiful, economical, professional, matte, rewets if dries on palette and can even be removed from plastic palettes. Behaves like oil soot, stays put on paper after it dries, good for Xieyi as it as a very black black, also good for Gongbi as it will not dissolve when washed over with other colors. only slightly satiny if used pure. Red Star also makes a glossy black for shiny insect legs, and a vermillion, be sure you buy the right one. I am reviewing the one with the plain white label background and the white caps with spout. Highly recommend for chinese painting or calligraphy work. Arrives fast.

some dry bits but ok
The color is bright orange. My bottle comes with some dry bits but once I shaked it and throw the bits back, it was ok. Always shake each you use it. If it gets too dry or too thick, you can add some water to it for calligraphy use. good value.

Great ink
I've been using this ink for my Chinese calligraphy class. I think it's good quality, but I've never used any other kind of ink, so I wouldn't really know. I think it's all about getting the right amount of ink in your brush so that it's not too runny on your paper. It's pretty easy to get the hang of, even for a beginner.

Bought it for my Mum & she said the quality of the ink was really good. Other inks are too transparent & watery but this one is just right in consistency & the colour is jet black.

Tinte war ausgelaufen. Das noch bei meiner Bestellung abgebildete Zubehör war ebenfalls nicht enthalten. - Ink was ran out. The accessories shown when I ordered were also not included.
