Recently they made changes to the shoe, that caused me to become injured so I had to go out looking for a different shoe that would work for me.I have very high arched feet and wear orthotics so I needed a shoe with a high enough heel counter to not rub and irritate my achilles. I did not need a lot of motion control because the orthotics take care of that. I also wanted a medium amount of cushioning.The Saucony Triumph 9 shoe fit the bill perfectly. It is comfortable right out of the box.It seems like just the right amount of shoe for me and my orthotics.An added bonus is that it is lighter than my previous shoe which is great for those longer runs. I have been wearing them for almost 2 months now and I love them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One comfortable shoe *by B***L on August 30, 2013* The Triumph 9 is a very comfortable shoe, it has plenty of cushion to absorb jolts and bumps, it begins to mold itself to your foot almost immediately making it even more comfortable. I ordered the silver/navy/citron because I really like the "fluorescent" green citron which makes the shoe highly visible in sunlight and with plenty of toe and heel reflective areas, easily seen at night. They have an 8mm offset (heel to toe) and is setup for a neutral gait. The shoe fits true to size but does have a roomier toe box so if your feet are on the narrow end of normal you may find the fit a little loose there. I have used them for daily activities (mostly walking) and have only had them for a week, so only time will tell how well they hold up but they appear to be well made so I don't anticipate any problems. I have not run any significant distance in them so I can't speak to how well they will do as "runners" but if you are looking for a good comfortable shoe to "knock around in" I can definitely recommend the Saucony Triumph 9. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best running shoes i have ever had *by D***H on April 10, 2013* As a 24 year veteran of the U.S. Army, i have had plenty of running shoes over the years, but i can honestly say that these shoes are the best that I have ever had. I am currently in Afghanistan and needed a new pair of running shoes and the pickings here were slim so I was forced to buy some online for the 1st time ever. I did alot of research before making my choice and a runner's magazine named these shoes as the best for Male runners over 170 lbs (i am 6ft tall 190). Being that i suffer from flat feet and wear arch supports in my military boots, I was definitely careful in making my choice in shoes, but these were advertised so well and the product description, on and off Amazon, seemed to speak directly to me. I received these shoes sooner than expected and they were exactly as advertised. These were my first pair of Saucony's, but they wont be my last.
