MAS Epoxies Penetrating Epoxy Resin Wood Sealer, 1.5 Pint, 2-Part for Countertops, Wood Stain, Rot Repair and Restoration

This is an amazingly thin epoxy. I used it to stabilize knots in a few boards. I poured it in the punky top and, to my surprise, it dripped out the underside through cracks that did not appear to be open. Once I figured out I needed to tape the back side, everything worked out well. Careful 2:1 measures must be followed. Don’t guess or you will have a sticky mess!

Works as it should. Does penetrate into the wood.

I was super spectacle about this at first, but I mixed it up and let it sit on the plywood on my rotted out toy hauler and it totally made it rock solid and you can’t tell it had a soft spot now. I’m definitely going to be using this stuff again as it was super easy to use.

I am quite happy with this epoxy. It flows well and penetrates well. I used it to fill cracks in Cedar for wood tuning. It flows so well I had to tape up the cracks at each end. It did what I wanted it to do.

I was anticipating a great product because of all the hype about penetrating action. Wow was i disappointed! The resin never hardened. Twice out of 3 times attempted. I mixed ratios according to instructions on the labels (2 parts resin to one part catalyst); 3rd attempt I even mixed slightly additional catalyst. Now I’m stuck with a $500 door that has been “penetrated” by resin that will never harden. Piece of garbage product, please avoid wasting you money!

We live on a street where the house numbers make no sense. the former owner had a 3'x2' wooden sign made so that mail and ambulances, etc can find the house. It had gotten weathered, and the plywood was and warped and coming apaart so we took it down and repaired it with this sealer so that it will hopefully last another 20 years or more. It was easy to work up dried quickly and the sign looks brand new

Works as it should, give it time it'll be hard as a rock.

Handled abuse well. Took color from alcohol dye well.
