Works exactly as it should and much less expensive than the BlueOx part. Very easy to swap out for the original 3 finger version. Now I can tow my lifted Jeep by the off-road bumper instead of paying $900 for a baseplate. Jeep pulls super stable behind the motorhome. Seems like a great quality piece after pulling with it for about 10,000 miles this year. No complaints at all!

Well built Does the job well

I recently aquired a used RV, and it had a Blue ox tow bar. But I wanted to setup my Wrangler to tow from the bumper, (make sure yours is rated before doing this) anyways these adaptors work perfect to convert from the Blue Ox connection to the D ring points on a bumper. Some of the advantages include. 1) no drop down hitch required. 2) No lowring of your ground clearence with a base plate. If I ever setup another jeep for towing I would use these again. Buy with Confidence, as I have already put 2000 trouble free miles on them. They feel really solid and well made.

I bought this set to connect to my dingy tow vehicle. My tow behind vehicle has an off-road bumper installed and instead of paying for the $500 for frame connectors I decided to hook straight to the off-road bumper recovery points. Is it as secure? Maybe not? but I towed my lifted Land Rover over 10k miles at 65-70mph with no problems. Even had to maneuver and slam on the breaks hard a few times. It was overall a success and easily installed. Swap the ends on your blue ox tow bar following the provided instructions. Measure your front loop recovery points on your bumper first to make sure the main pins will fit through before you buy, most of them are standard size but you never know. I always double checked the castle nylon nuts every stop and each pivot points for loosening or damages. Constant inspections and at camp always re-tightening and inspection before departure. I never allowed them to be super loose I kept the castle nylon nuts with some tension. I inspect the welds on the bumpers recovery points also. One upgrade I made was new linch tension pins from a tractor supply because the ones that come with the product are a little weak and flimsy so throw those out and replace them with some heavy duty ones with a stronger retractable spring. Another upgrade was to the front bumper, I figure it’s notable to mention to upgrade to more robust washers and frame bolts. This thing is going to jerk your vehicle all over the place and the tow bar points are super thick metal so then the weakest link turns into your bumpers mounting bolts. Overall I was super happy and super satisfied with the performance of this product and how easy it was to be able to hook up and unhook even under tension to my off-road bumper and the look too. I highly recommend this

Update. Seller reached out right away and offered a refund. The product seems well built but is bot an exact match to the original as the ears are shorter by over a inch. 5 stars for the seller 3 for the product. The ears that attach are shorter than the real blue ox part number that it is supposed to match. Being so much shorter and no measurements listed it did not work as it should for my application. It seems well built but it is not the same as bx88357 and shouldn't be labeled as such.

Works great on the Wrangler for hooking it up behind the RV.
