These are so much better than the economy banana plugs I was using before. I got these mainly because I was a few units short of my needs, but also because in my new home, with a built-in set of theater speakers, my old plugs were very loose in the wall plug panel, but I hadn't had enough experience with banana plugs to know if this was normal or not. I chose this set because the plug appeared to be significantly fatter than the ones I had... of boy, was that true! Almost too snug. The only reason I give them a 4-star "very good" instead of a 5-star is because they were so tight that I almost felt like I was going to break the patch panel cover trying to get these in! But, thankfully, they didn't break anything and are now much more secure than I had before. These are also very easy to install. I like double-screw design that holds your speaker wire in two places, and the plug shroud appears very professional. I like them enough that I'm going to order some more so I can replace all of my original plugs with these, just surprised by how much effort they take to insert. [UPDATE: After buying my second pack of these, I've decided to upgrade my rating to the full 5-stars. These are great plugs, but yes, they are stiff, so insert with a little extra care.]

These are the best banana plugs I’ve bought yet. They fit perfectly into the speaker connections. Unlike the ones I purchased in the past these have not oxidized or gotten loose. These are easy to use and create a solid connection to the wire. Lastly, the price of these is very reasonable for the quality of the plugs.

Great quality banana plugs. They have dual securing Allen screws instead of one and they are made well, I tightened one as hard as I could and the screw held.

I've finally upgraded my receiver after 16 years and with new wiring I wanted to use the old plugs I had with something more 'cleaner'. I thought the chrome aluminum shells would be a great touch. Quality: 4.5/5 the plugs are a bit thicker and longer, but it gets the job done. Not knocking points for that as each receiver is different. I didn't think about diameter sizes when looking for new plugs so that's on me. However, I also tried using them for my speaker terminals and had to use a bit more force, but noticed after I got them in, they became a little loose. The plug never returned to its original "thickness"? The part where it bulges. It just now slips in and doesn't fit snug anymore. Again, this is more of a user and not the item, but when it comes to durability I would expect the plugs to have retained it's original rigidity. Before buying, I would check on the compatibility of plugs and dimensions (depth/diameter) These look great, but they do not fit flushed on my Onkyo receiver. Value: 5/5. 12 sets for this price is a bargain! Going to try these out for a week or so before ordering a different set of plugs that better fits my receiver. Performance: 5/5 I've experienced no issues with using these plugs. No static noises or anything.

I had normally just run speaker wires directly into the back of my amplifier but my wife wanted me to clean up the mess. I installed a speaker wire wall plate into the wall and purchased these plugs to attach the speaker wires to the wall plate. Extremely easy to attach the speaker wires into the plug. Just need a standard wire stripper and a small screwdriver. Each Banana plug is color coded black or red for the positive/negative wire and each set can be stripped and attached in less than 5 minutes. Very sturdy and secure. Great value and great purchase.

I’ve had several of these fall apart when removing the plug from the avr. While these were cheaper than others I think I’d spend a little more next time and try to get something more durable. I think these are a good choice if you’re going to gets your speakers setup and never live or change anything.

I didn't need or want top shelf expensive plugs, neither did I want low quality cheap ones. These are what I consider to be mid - range and they work for me. I really like the double screw fastening, nice and secure.

I was using bear wires before hand. These made resetting my speakers up after a move so much easier. They were easy to install with two grub screws fastening the end of the wire and a screw on collar to cover the screws.
