Lunar Tides Semi-Permanent Hair Color (43 colors) (Cranbaby, 8 fl. oz.)

I was a little worried the green wouldn’t really show up on my dark brown hair, but I was gladly proven wrong! It’s the exact color I was looking for (a dark green that blends well with my natural hair color). Many other reviews helped me pick this product with their praise of it so I’m glad to say it’s deserving. I left it in for an hour instead of the recommended 30 minutes (as per what others suggested) and it came out great, no need for a second round of dye. It also washes off of skin pretty decently (with a good amount of scrubbing). The dye on the skin comes off fully after 1-2 showers. Would recommend!!

Thai has been by far the best and lastest longing Mei permanent red I've used and I've about tried all the trendy and popular brands and even a few off ones. This color starts out pretty dark almost a blood aurburn but after 2 washes it's a deep cranberry red and as it fades becomes a blood red. It's so pretty at each stage of the washing and is fading and I really recommend for anyone who wants a deep red burgundy color. It does stain your hands and your pillow, and please do yourself a favor and wash in the sink the first few times with gloves because it will stay on your hands fora few days. Also if you sweat it can leave a little stain on the side of the face but if you use a little conditioner around those areas it helps a lot and does come off after a little scrubbing.

Just tried this for the first time and this is the most PURPLE purple I've ever used, and it also has staying power! At a month in it's still holding strong. It is a more blue toned purple, and the only real change is that a month in it is a little less blue toned in the light but still pigmented purple. I wash once or twice a week in cold water with biotera color Ulta shampoo and conditioner. I never did purples often because they fade so fast, usually within a week, but this is a game changer. Does not bleed or stain things! Color comes out a little when shampooing and then water runs clear again. ❤️

I think it’s pretty good for the price. I didn’t have any taking issues when I first dyed it a few months ago. Bleached my hair to about an 8, toned, then used the dye and it seemed extremely pigmented and very bright. Not darker like the picture though, was giving more Hatsune Miku than what the picture showed. Could have been the bleach and toner used beforehand maybe. It’s grown on me and may redo a few more times. Stains pretty bad but nothing I haven’t seen before with other brands. I did try and touch up my roots no bleaching first recently, and it didn’t take much at all. Will try one more time with the new batch I got. If it doesn’t work will just go to another brand. The color though, pretty, getting compliments on it. It really is vibrant even though it’s faded some. Feels like it has some decent staying power.

Please note: I'll be comparing this dye to Manic Panic's Infrared because that is my usual. This may not be the most comparable color between the two brands but is the dye that I am the most experienced with. I've written this whole thing out once, only to immediately accidentally delete it. This is probably going to be a longish review even with my attempt to hurry through my points. I did so much research before buying this dye and the pictures attached to this listing all look amazing. I have naturally blonde hair that I've been dying red for an eternity. My roots are light enough that I don't need to bleach them before coloring. Blood Moon is currently resting upon layers and layers of Manic Panic Infrared and Vampire Red. I love love love the quality of MP and the only reason I was interested in making a switch, was boredom with the same colors over and over again. Lunar Tides has a very positive reception around the internet. I came across a list of the best fashion dyes and Lunar Tides occupied the top place, with Manic Panic being several places behind. I decided that with all of the wonderful press I'd been seeing, it was worth trying a different brand. Blood Moon sounds like a thing that would be right up my alley, anyway. I don't like leaving negative reviews, so I am going to start with what I liked. The seller is prompt and the order was accurate. Packaging is adorable. The color is fine, it's not a bad red. My main gripe is that the color is terribly sheer. It looks like someone turned the opacity waaay down on Infrared. There is even a noticable difference with the formulas. Manic Panic is just much thicker and more pigmented. It's a similar contrast between liquid lipstick and lip gloss, with Lunar Tides being the latter. The intensity just isn't there. It's more of a tint or a stain, than a dye (on me). Maybe my hair type just isn't ideal for this dye? The color is okay. It's very classically red. When I dye my hair with Manic Panic's Infrared, it initially looks like a deep and shiny slice of red velvet cake. The color fades to a brilliant ruby red. There is so much depth to the pigment and it almost evolves, instead of washing out. I would not have to redye if it weren't for my roots. Speaking of roots! Lunar Tides did a real number on my new growth. It tinted the blonde with a light orangish copper. The overall color would be tolerable if it hadn't ghosted the top of my head. I had some left over Infrared from my last dye, which I wanted to use to add some dimension to Blood Moon. The sections that I dyed with Manic Panic are the only places were the color reaches all the way to the top of my hair. This isn't a bad dye. If you have bleached hair and you're looking for a lovely classic red, Blood Moon is your gal (probably). If you're dying over any deeper color, please do yourself a favor and skip this. Manic Panic is a magician when it comes to crimson. Infrared is intense, dimensional and long lasting. Vampire Red is a close second. The picture does not give it justice. I originally dyed my hair with HiColor Red and it came out too bright for my liking. I found Lunar Tides-Blood Moon on TikTok and loved how it was shown. This red is a little “darker”, I wanted more of a red the same as blood (if that makes sense). The formula wasn’t too thick and smelled good. Super easy to apply. My new red! ♥️🙂‍↕️

...alle Haarfarben von Lunar Tides sind top. Ich hab mich schon so durch manche Farben probiert. Bei mir halten sie super gut. Sie riechen mega gut. Ich freu mich immer aufs färben weils auch schnell geht und das Ergebnis top ist. Selbst wenn man sich irgendwann dazu entscheiden sollte die Farben raus haben zu wollen - auch das geht ganz gut. Besser als die Direction Farben die überall abfärben und sich im Haar beim waschen ausspülen.

J'ai les cheveux long et très épais, il me faut normalement 2 pots pour recouvrir mes cheveux d'une coloration...Avec celle-ci, la moitié d'un seul pot à suffit !! La couleur est plus verte que sur le pot, mais elle est très jolie et tient vraiment bien Meilleure marque que j'ai pu tester jusqu'à maintenant

Coloration très liquide il faut faire attention mais la couleur ressort super bien. Elle dégorge assez vite mais ne disparaît pas complètement après deux shampoing. J'ai aimé.
