Repaired 2013 Nissan Altima gearshift select problem
At least with my sons car, replace both these switches to get things 100 % right. They're many YouTube video's on how to do this ( repair for gearshift not going from park to drive with foot on brake ) and it is not difficult to do. After replacing the original two with these, everything works great ! Highly recommend at least for a 2013 Nissa Altima SV.

My 17 Altima would not shift out of park when started. Dealer said shifter not serviceable 1100.00 for part and labor replacement, Remedy: find a decent mechanic or auto body shop , Open shifter console & swap out these two piece from the shifter. Works fine now... * * * * *
